We stayed for 2 nights over the easter weekend and welcomed the fact that we could return to the accomodation whenever we liked! There is a small but adequate and comfortable guest area that is part of the breakfast room. Our bedroom was spacious with a small but well fitted en suite shower room. The furnishings were of good quality and the whole place was spotless. Breakfast was a feast~ good choice of cereals/fruit/juices etc as well as the usual offer of hot breakfasts which could be adapted to personal choice and were very well cooked. It's well positioned for a wandering into town and the hosts gace good advice about local eating places. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Ask if they have a room not facing the main road ~ excellent double glazing but if you like an open...

We stayed one week night in March 2012. Marie was the perfect host, nothing was too much trouble, and the breakfast was amazing. Would definitely stay again, and it goes without saying that this is a guest house to be recommended...

We attend an Exhibition twice a year and have stayed in several different hotels but this was by far the best. It was completely refurbished last year to the highest standard, I've never stayed in such a clean and tidy Hotel. A pot of tea and biscuits was brought up to us on arrival, even though they are supplied in the room, that was a welcome touch after a very long journey and long day. There were complimentary chocs, plenty of drinks and lovely toiletries. The breakfast was freshly cooked to order and there was plenty of choice available. We have already booked for the next visit.

Room Tip: Ask for the biggest room as they vary in size

Let's make it quick. Great Location opposite conference centre and 2 min walk to Harrogate centre, great rooms (with nice little extra touches in the room on arrival), great breakfast in terms of options and quality and great host.
What more could you want from a B&Q in Harrogate?

We chose Scotia House for its location and excellent reviews and were not disappointed. It is directly opposite the entrance to the Conference /concert hall and we were very impressed by the welcome and standard of accomodation. Parking was easy, preparations had been made for arrival and the rooms were spotless. The tea/coffee tray had some nice little extras which were appreciated by children and adults. Breakfast was excellent with fresh fruit and a well cooked full english. We would definitely visit again!

We stayed 1 night & could not fault Scotia House. From the warm welcome onwards this B&B will not disappoint. The rooms are immaculate, good location & breakfast out of this world. We are hopefully returning for a couple of days next month.
