Three of us turned up on spec for the buffet special at £10.95 a head. It is performed a bit differently. You get your chosen starters brought to the table and then you aren't let loose on the buffet until after your starter dishes have been cleared away and a fresh plate is brought to your table. The restaurant was fairly quiet and plenty of staff were in attendance so the poor service was a bit of a mystery. As a consequence the downside, it seemed like we were a bit of an inconvenience to the staff, as if they would have preferred to be elsewhere. The upside, and this does make up for it the food was really good. Starters good, main courses good (I added some chillies from the hot dishes to the milder dishes to add a bit more spice), a huge nan bread presented to your table on a hook, (for dramatic effect I suppose!), was good. Definitely good value and worth another visit for the buffet at least.
