We stayed at the Marriott Peterborough last night. To be fair to the hotel, we were only using it as we were at a wedding reception the other side of the city and didn't want to drive home. The room was comfortable but a veritable trek from reception. Breakfast was good, with freshly cooked fried eggs while you wait! The staff, reception and in the restaurant, were friendly and helpful. There were spa facilities but we didn't use them.
I have to say that we stayed in an extension to the original hotel. The extension is 25 years old and looks it so my only complaint would be that this area needs a little TLC to bring it up to the standard of the reception area which I imagine has had some money spent on it.More
