“Lovely Light Sunday Lunch”
Reviewed February 10, 2013

Once again had the most lovely food at this establishment, we have been here a few times over the past few years and always not disappointed. I had the Risotto for my main which was the best I've tasted in a while, hubby decided to go for the pate starter with welsh rarebit to follow all washed down with a tasty capuccino mmmmm.

“An excellent evening!”
Reviewed January 28, 2013

Not in the most attactive setting between Asda and a dual carriageway but the Beehive makes up for it in so many ways. Very smart interior with a bar area leading through into the restaurant proper (you could also eat in the bar). It was a snowy Saturday in January but the place was warm, cosy and inviting. The staff are very friendly and helpful without being over the top. The food is based on pub classics with a number of higher end dishes. We selected chicken liver parfait and hot mackeral salad for starters then slow cooked lamb with beans, and roast chicken breast with potato rosti for mains. No room for pud! Well judged portion sizes, excellent flavours and very nicely presented. Excellent value for money with all of the above plus a bottle of temperanillo and a coffee coming to £55.

“Great food, venue and value”
Reviewed January 5, 2013

Visited this restaurant for my partners work Christmas meal.

The venue has a fantastic with a lively atmosphere and enthusiastic, fun and endearing staff offering wonderful attentive service.

The food itself is great, we all enjoyed our meals and were pleasantly surprised by the superior quality and presentation of the dishes. Food of better quality is hard to find in Peterborough.

Recommended either for a quick bite or more formal dining.

“Ridiculous”
Reviewed January 1, 2013

Overpriced terrible menu. £8 for scotch egg and offers cheese on toast. Perhaps they are trying to be a top London restaurant with the prices and unusually basic menu but it does not work behind Asda, in peterborough. Most expensive and undeserved meal myself and family had. W went with a large family and were Putin different tables. Not impressive.
