My wife and I arrived at about 9 p.m., the free car park with only a few cars. Receptionist greeted us cheerfully, and despite having had three power cuts that evening, coped very well with checking in. Our room was tidy and clean. Next morning, discovered that the shower soap dispenser was empty. Male receptionist who answered was distinctly unfriendly, but the Duty Manager arrived arrived within minutes with a replacement dispenser and shaving kit which I had also requested.
Breakfast was a revelation. Charlene greeted us cheerfully and was very helpful with the very satisfying breakfast.
We had chosen the hotel for its proximity to Rutland Water, and after a great day out, returned to a clean and tidy room.
The following morning, both Charlene and Daria greeted us cheerfully and were very helpful, obviously enjoying their position in the hotel. Note to Management: you have two gems there.
We shall stay here again, as it is well located for East Anglian also.

Room Tip: If you prefer open windows to air conditioning, request a room at the rear of the hotel due to traff...

We don't usually stay at 3 star hotels but needed a bed for one night in central Peterborough and my wife found an on line offer for the Park Inn.

What a lovely surprise very efficient and friendly staff, a pleasant room with a large bed, safe and very good aircon. A decent secure car park (free)

The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice.

Will definitely be back as this is a little gem and would put a lot of 4 star hotels to shame.

Super.

For a corporate trip the location of this hotel, 5 minute walk south of Peterborough station... [navigate to the right of the car park & walk down the underpass, continue up the steps along the road, then back to the main road,, the hotel is minutes later ]
I've heard stories before of lost bookings, so was no surprised a problem with mine. This resulted in a 'upgrade' which means a segregated lounge area with 5 person sofa & a 5-perosn bed to boot, each with its own TV, and of course the 2-person shower.
Noise (traffic) is a minimum/non-existent thanks to the large gap double glazing
...The only down side was the cooked food, Even beef sausages cannot make up for truly 2/3 star greasy spoon class..with no vegetarian hot foo option the only black mark in a otherwise above decent hotel..but a significant one

Room Tip: Choose a High floor to get away from large parties if you want a quiet room

I cannot fault this hotel, great location, friendly staff and Richard the manager is efficient and polite. It's a great hotel to stay in for Burghley Horse Trials as only a 5/10 minute walk to the train station and then a 15 minute train ride to Stamford, you can enjoy the walk to the course, drink champagne all day and then finish up in one of the pubs in Stamford before a train ride back to the hotel. As you are in the centre of Peterborough you have a choice of restaurants for the evening and the next morning have a lovely cooked breakfast in the hotel before setting off in the car for showjumping, it's about a 30 minute drive to Burghley, can't wait for September

My wife and i stayed for 1 night last week. The hotel is in a good central location with free car parking, we stayed in a room at the back of the hotel on the first floor overlooking a bt car park but the room was clean, bright, quite and had every thing we needed with a good shower. we did not have a meal at night in the hotel but breakfast was beautiful, helpful pleasant staff and a good choice of hot and cold food, could not fault the hotel and have already booked our next visit.
P s there is a nice pub across the road called the Beehive which serve some good real ales and have an excellent menu well worth a visit

Stayed at the Park Inn, as a overnight before a meeting the next day.

Great location, easy to find, great customer parking, which for city centre location is rare.

Reception desk was manned by a young man, who was efficient, and told me he had upgraded me to a business room.

My room, it was spacious, only problem was the bathroom. I discovered that I actually had a disabled bedroom, which meant a disabled shower toilet sink etc...not a massive problem but little thinks like doing hair brushing teeth etc a little difficult.

Had lunch in the restaurant which was ok, but not great so decided to eat out instead.
Breakfast however was really good, fresh, and tasty, I recommend ordering poached eggs.

All in all a decent nights sleep, good breakfast and friendly staff, as well as a good location.

Room Tip: No rooms apparently have baths

I stayed here for 1 night a couple of weeks ago. Good central location with complimentary car parking. When checking in myself and a colleague had our rooms upgraded. Although the hotel effectively sits on a dual carriageway there was absolutely no noise from the road. Breakfast was good despite it being buffet style, something I'm not keen on but everywhere seems to be doing this now. The beef sausages were superb with a choice of eggs freshly prepared on request.

Room Tip: I was on the top (5th) floor.
