Returned here recently after a long absence with my partner and 3 year old child. We opted to dine early on the midweek special menu which we felt was exceptional value for money (two courses for just under £10). The starters were from a decent set menu but the main course was any choice off the a la carte menu. We expected to get smallish portions for the price but were very surprised when the meal came. The children's menu is great and again the portion size plentiful. The staff were attentive without being intrusive and the décor and ambience were modern and stylish. The specials menu was very tempting and is something we will try on an adults only evening when we have a bit more time to indulge.

Visited a number of times now since its opening and numbers are clearly rising here. Decent food, nice area, staff who put the effort in. Enjoy a drink before or after your meal in the bar area which is spacious. Must try the Seafood pancake for starter. its a twist on a fish pie! My boyfriend had it. plenty of mussels prawns squid and other fish inside! Also visited with family. £10 two courses tue-thurs.

Me and my partner visited here one very cold evening at the end of march, the restaurant had only just opened and was very chilly inside, we had to follow the example of other diners and keep our coats on!

We both had garlic bread with cheese (one with tomato) which came reasonably quickly but was the absolutely covered in grease to the point we had to try and soak it up with the napkins. So definitely one to avoid!!

For the main my partner had the lasagne which she described as average, the top layer of pasta was well and truly burnt, which wasn’t a great start. She had ordered it to come with chips, which never arrived until we had finished our meals so totally pointless and weren’t even cooked properly when they did turn up.

I had one of the pizzas from the special board which was mozzarella and some sort of parma (ish) ham which was very tasteless to be honest.

Overall i would say you could have much better quality at other Italians than this, especially when what we ordered was very basic items.

This place is well worth a visit. Food really tasty and reasonably priced. Service was excellent (at first) but then a let down for dessert and coffee which was a shame. The dessert was nice but we asked for pouring cream and got very weak cream (or possibly even milk!) with it. Bit of a shame as starter and main were excellent! We'd still recommend however and will certainly go back

I used to visit this place when i was younger and havent been in a while. i know that its changed hands but i wanted to try it just to bring back the memorys of when i visited last which was a few years ago.

all the things i liked then was still on the menu. ficash to start and traditional spog bol. so yeah you bet a had it again. id like to say that the flavours were the same but im sorry they wasnt. they were so much better than i remember. nice clean flavour. taste all the ingredients tht it states. garlic. tomato. origano and parmasan.

i visited due to my girlfriend treating me and i think it was well worth it. Very well priced. good service bye the lady working. im sorry i dont know her name.

i deffently recomend and i will be making regular visits back. massive thank you to the chefs and waitress who served us. i had a brilliant time.
