“Worth a visit”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 5, 2013

This place is well worth a visit. Food really tasty and reasonably priced. Service was excellent (at first) but then a let down for dessert and coffee which was a shame. The dessert was nice but we asked for pouring cream and got very weak cream (or possibly even milk!) with it. Bit of a shame as starter and main were excellent! We'd still recommend however and will certainly go back

“Cracking food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 23, 2013

I used to visit this place when i was younger and havent been in a while. i know that its changed hands but i wanted to try it just to bring back the memorys of when i visited last which was a few years ago.

all the things i liked then was still on the menu. ficash to start and traditional spog bol. so yeah you bet a had it again. id like to say that the flavours were the same but im sorry they wasnt. they were so much better than i remember. nice clean flavour. taste all the ingredients tht it states. garlic. tomato. origano and parmasan.

i visited due to my girlfriend treating me and i think it was well worth it. Very well priced. good service bye the lady working. im sorry i dont know her name.

i deffently recomend and i will be making regular visits back. massive thank you to the chefs and waitress who served us. i had a brilliant time.

“Fab as always x”

We went here last night after wanting to visit again for ages. We wasn't disappointed, my husband had the ribs to start which literally fell off the bone with a gorgeous sauce that he ate with a spoon so he ate every last bit! I had the stuffed tomatoes which they used to have on a previous menu and I was so glad to see them on the specials as they are really tasty :)
I had the pancetta, pepper, mushroom tagliatelle which was really nice, I usually get the lasagne here which I can highly recommend also. My husband had the stone baked pepperoni pizza with extra chilli flakes and really thoroughly enjoyed it. We have been coming here for years and never had a bad meal, it's a place that we can rely on. We will be back soon. We both had a drink each, started, main course each, 2 garlic breads and s potion if chips and it was £39. Worth every penny.

“Gorgeous Meal”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 1, 2013

We went to The Pack for a change & to experience somewhere different. We also had a travelzoo voucher.
On arriving at 6pm, from the outside I did wonder 'where we had come to', as it doesn't look particularly inviting from the roadside, however, once inside we were greeted by friendly staff & a nice open coal fire to warm ourselves whilst we had a pre-dinner drink.
Our meal was very good indeed, garlic bread, starters & main meals all arrived piping hot, which we like I opted for a side salad which was fresh & crunchy with good variety of salad.
We had sweets which were also delicious & home made!
The two glasses of prosecco topped it off nicely! We shall definately be returning & recommending!!!

“Disappointing this time round”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 22, 2013

Haven't visited The Pack since last September, and was very much looking forward to it after our previous good experience. As before the staff and service were good. The starters were also of a good standard, Seafood pancake and Stuffed peppers, but both my husband and myself ordered the Sirloin steaks for our main and we were both very disappointed as (as someone has stated in a previous review) more than a third of it was gristle and fat, which was not the case on our previous visit. At over £15 a steak I find this unacceptable, and I would not recommend this option. If we visit again we would choose either a pizza, pasta or chicken dish.
