“Beautiful building- beautiful setting- delicious food”
Reviewed November 6, 2012

I had the good fortune to have lunch and dinner here recently and on both occasions it did not disappoint! Menu reads well and food is very tasty and well presented. The desserts were especially good and though not my usual penchant, I must admit I devoured a rhubarb and custard Eton Mess. Divine!! Price is good for what you get, the place is very tastefully decorated and really in a superb location overlooking the river and sea. One teeny tiny complaint was that the staff were a little inattentive- they seemed tired (they were busy in fairness) but they let it show. Otherwise very very good.

“Just what Wicklow needs”
Reviewed November 2, 2012 via mobile

We are veterans of the battle to try to find genuine quality in and around Wicklow. The Bridge has set a standard that other establishments in Wicklow need to emulate. Very well designed, warm and friendly, excellent honest food and lovely staff make for a lovely experience for a coffee outside by the river, a pint or dinner. So far they have kept their standards up - let's hope they continue to do so.

“Its not fine dining but ............”
Reviewed October 22, 2012

it is good, home cooked style food and good value for money. Nice surroundings and realy friendly staff. I highly recommend the garlic musrooms (no deep fried frozen stuff here).

We were delighted with Sunday and Lunch and equally as pleased with an evening meal on another occassion.

Just what Wicklow needed, well done.

“Great food, great service.”
Reviewed September 3, 2012

We went on a Saturday night in summer, with no booking, on the off chance they had a table. The place was heaving as it is very popular and there was a function going on. However, we were still made very welcome and given a nice table in the bar area. Despite the hectic activity, we had good service, very pleasant staff, lovely food, good house wine, and felt under no rush to vacate our seats. Would definitely go again.
