We stayed one night in this B&B and found many positive aspects - private parking, friendly staff, clean room and in an excellent location close to the town centre. The only downsides were the cold shower the next morning (probably because we got up too late!) and the noise at night-time which was no fault of the owners, more due to the location of our room and the B&B at a reasonably busy junction and the fact it was Easter Sunday night. Overall, very good accommodation and the owners are very friendly.

A gracious and accommodating host who aims to please. The rooms are a bit worn in this sprawling building, but, hey, it's a guesthouse in a coastal town in Ireland. I'd go back in a minute. Off-street parking is a plus, breakfast is good. Street can be a bit noisy if windows are open.

My parents and I traveled for a week in Ireland and we stayed at 3 other regular (and expensive) hotels in addition to the St. George. But the St., George was our favorite by far! This was due mostly to the charm and hospitality of Michael and his staff. They went the extra mile to see that we were happy and comfortable, which was no small feat considering my dad and I are both have some physical problems that make us a little more needy than some. One example of Michael's kindness and sensitivity was when he was concerned enough about us to call the museum in Enniscorthy that we were had gone to visit on one particularly rainy day. The museum's location required that we take a bus and then a taxi to reach it, so he wanted to make sure we arrived ok. But mostly he wanted to make sure that the museum staff knew that we would need to use their phone to call a taxi when we were ready to leave. (He knew my dad would never have been able to walk all the way to the bus stop.)

We have nothing but good things to say about our stay. Although the rooms were a little small, they were very clean and quite cozy. The food was good and the location was hard to beat - everywhere we wanted to go in Wexford Town was within walking distance. But most of all, we felt like we were part of the family. Thanks Michael, Mary, and everybody else at the St. George!

This adorable B&B in the heart of Wexford was a great find. The room and shower were small but more than acceptable. The best part of this B&B is Michael, the proprietor, who was generously friendly and offered much-appreciated advice on sites to see in south-coastal Ireland. The full Irish breakfast, cooked by Michael, was a delicious way to start the next day's adventure. Thank you, Michael!

A group of 12 of us stayed at the St George for six nights during a recent golfing/fishing trip to the Wexford area. Conveniently situated just a few minutes walk from the town centre, the St George is a well run guest house which offers a good quality bed and breakfast package at a very reasonable price. The accommodation is clean and tidy and the breakfasts good and plentiful. There is also secure off road parking . But for us what turned a good stay into an excellent one was the service provided by the staff. Nothing was too much trouble and the hospitality shown by Michael the owner was truly exceptional . We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the St George and would strongly recommend it to anyone looking for reasonably priced accommodation in the centre of Wexford. If you would like to experience true Irish hospitality then go to the St George.

Stayed overnight at this lovely B & B with my 5 yr old daughter, my aunt & her 14 yr old son. From the second we arrived we felt very welcome by Michael (the owner). We had a lovely ensuite room with double bed, tv & tea/coffee making facilities. The room was spotless clean & so was the bathroom. The breakfast in the morning was really lovely & Michael does his very best to make sure everyone is looked after & has enough of everything. There is also private parking in this B & B. We got a great price & had a lovely stay. We defo stay again.
