This is a lovely hotel, beautiful at night time, a short walk across a bridge into the town, the lights of the town are wonderful from the hotel. Receptionist was lovely. couldnt have done enough for us. Breakfast was gorgeous, buffet and hot menu omlette, full irish etc. The rooms were clean and bed was very comfortable. on leaving we all got a bottle of water for the journey home, and there was a tea-coffee service at the reception for people departing. Fantastic trip. Def would stay there again.

This really is a lovely hotel, it's not much to look at from the outside but from the minute you walk in your greeted by cozy reception area, lovely open fire, candles lighting and freindly staff. The staff in the bar / restaurant are also really good, the food is excellent quality and very reasonably priced. Both the bar and the restaurant have plenty of large tables seating 6/8/10 people, perfect for groups and families -there are also plenty of smaller intimate tables for couple's. Both rooms have big open fireplaces and create a nice athmosphere.

Breakfast is freshly cooked to order and you can get everything from full irish, smoked salmon, lemon sole plus the usual, fresh fruit, cereals, juices etc. and if you love a good breakfast, you won't be disappointed with the portions !

Bedrooms can vary in size but are comfortable with tea/coffee making facilities and flat-screen tv's. Bathrooms are on the small side, but if your pacific on your room type just ask when booking. Also if there is a function on in the hotel like weddings or parties, the staff will inform you so you can change to a quieter room if your a light sleeper.

Location wise this hotel is a 2 min walk across the bridge into the centre of Wexford town and for those who are getting bus/train's it's about a 5 min walk from the station.

On checking out, there's complimentry freshly brewed tea and coffee supplied in paper cups, and bottled water for everyone in your party to take on your journey home - just another example of the great service in this hotel and the little extra's that will definitely bring me back to this hotel again!

I can't recommed this hotel enough for a night away or weekend break for a group or couples. There isn't a swimming pool but there is a leisure centre a few minutes walk away and there's plenty to keep you busy in Wexford anyway!

Room Tip: Nip over the bridge to T.Morris for a drink / coffee - it's a great little pub with original fea...

What a lovely place to spend a weekend. From start to finish, everything about riverbank was just excellent. Staff very friendly, food excellent, room lovely, open fire and candles. Highly recommend and looking forward to return visit later this year. While there was no pool there, the local pool and fitness centre are literally five minutes walk away...well worth a visit.

Stayed here overnight and i have to say the two receptionists were absolutley fantastic. Rooms were spotless and really comfortable. Fantactic views of the sea and quay and just a five minute walk over the bridge into Wexford town was so handy. We were advised that there was a 21st on that night and there may be noise but we heard nothing. Food was lovely and it was nice to have breakfast brought to you and not the modern day buffet style. We were given complimentary bottles of water on leaving and the option of taking a tea or a coffee with us as well. Really enjoyed it here.

This hotel is definitely more than a 3 star. Beautiful open fires, lovely and such helpful staff, spotless, beautiful views and fantastic food - what more can you ask for? The week before we wer e due to visit, hotel reception rang to say there would be a 21st birthday on same night but our room would not be near - very nice of them to inform us. We got bottles of water for our journey home - nice touch.

The hotel it's self isn't great but the people are so lovely I would still recommend it. It's not luxurious or well decorated but its such a hidden dated gym. The bar is lovely, the people friendly the atmosphere layed back.
