We had seen the homestead about 4 years ago before the renovations and were interested in seeing the new centre. The centre is a lot smaller than I expected so wouldnt really take you very long to get around it.But it was still very interesting and you could feel the sense of history as you stand in the courtyard and imagine the President and all his entourage 50 years ago. They have a mock-up of the living room as it was on the day he visited. The tea rooms served a lovely tea with scones/jam/cream for a reasonable price.

Lovely new centre but way too expensive for what you get. Short talk from a relative of JFK's who was ver.y nice but then you are left to your self to look around which is fine but not after paying 7.50 each. they should invest in some professional guides as a good guide is what makes an attraction great

Really great to be actually at the Kennedy homestead. Staff are very well informed, and Patrick, a direct descendant, was on hand to share stories and information. Delighted I saw it. A must for any Kennedy fans.

Interesting exhibition, quite sad in places i felt, expensive enough tho at 7.50 per person, you would probably only spend an hour here. Tea rooms and rest rooms available.

The Kennedy Homestead has recently been renovated for the 50th anniversary of the visit of President Kennedy.
There is a very interesting series of displays and family trees. There are some actual items belonging to the late president including his Rosary beads and military dog tags.
The stable is the only original building left and this has a tasteful recreation of the fireplace in the existing house (private) where JFK took tea.
There is a very reasonably priced teashop.
Not a lot to see but very well presented. Visit will be short.
