Stayed with wife & 2 kids (6yo and 4yo) on midweek (3 nights B&B + 1 evening meal). Had very relaxing enjoyable stay at a very reasonable rate. Kids enjoyed themselves thoroughly. Food we had in bar and in restaurant was very good quality. All staff friendly and went out of there way on a number of occasions to help us.
As a three star hotel it more than lives up to its rating, giving the impression of being well run without being overly fussy.
Pool facilities while ever so slightly dated were perfect for kids with mix of decent size main pool and number of paddling pools.
Location was good for getting to the likes of Waterford/Wexford/Rosslare. New Ross as a town isn't the most attractive but there are attractions nearby worth visiting such as the Dunbrody Famine ship, Suir valley railway and Irish Heritage centre.
Would thoroughly recommend it for a short family getaway based on our experienceMore
