I stayed at the Brandon House with my parents, sister and aunt over a bank holiday weekend. Everything about the hotel was first class, from the efficient check in, friendly staff and superb food (breakfast and an evening meal) to the great facilities. The rooms were very spacious and spotlessly clean. New Ross isn't huge but there is enough to do nearby what with the Kennedy Homestead and Arboretum, as well as a fine selection fo pubs and restaurants in the town. We went to Corcorans in Irishtown (10 minutes from the hotel by car) because we had heard there was live music there and we weren't disappointed.

Overall, I would certainly recommend this hotel. I stayed in another 5 star hotel in the midlands of Ireland two months ago and it couldn't hold a candle to this hotel.

We had an amazing stay at the Brandon House Hotel.
Everyone was amazing.
The food in the restaurant was fine dining at a great price.
The room was very comfortable.
The Spa was like no other I have every seen in the US.
The atmosphere of the property was very relaxing.
I would go back again.

After driving for hours and searching for a place to stay (advice: plan all stays ahead of time, winging it isn't fun) we found New Ross and had a girl at Four Star Pizza direct us to this hotel. It was quite a relief to drive up to it and find out that not only did they have room but it was a good quality place. It was pretty quiet (random Monday night), but the place was clean, the staff was friendly, the breakfast was good. There is a pool, spa and gym but we didn't take advantage of it. We weren't too excited by the town but if you find yourself there the hotel is quite nice.

A group of 6 adults and 6 children (aged 22 months to 5 years) stayed at the Brandon House Hotel over Easter weekend. All had a fantastic time. This hotel caters for every family's needs - swimming pool, games room with lots activities for children. However what sets this hotel apart from others are the staff - nothing was too much trouble and kids were welcome guests, not irritations. The food in the restaurant and bar was excellent and always served with a smile. We would definitley return and recommmend to all our friends. Thank you for a wonderul stay. We did not use the Spa so cannot comment on it unfortunately, but it looks very impressive from the outside.
