A very nice unassuming little bistro. The menu has some traditional Italian dishes which are very tasty and the portions are generous. The menu is a bit limited on the meat side and the paninis are not actually proper Italian paninis. You get Ballygowen sparkling water rather than San Pelligrino as well, but that's just me being picky!
Overall a very enjoyable place to have lunch.

We went to this restaurant as a last minute decision to eat out. When we arrived we were given the wine list and dinner menu. We were expecting a much wider selection of dishes as the menu appeared to be limited. The waiter gave us the specials of the day and three of our party of four opted for specials and I went with Tortelloni Fungi Gorgonzola e Tartufo…fresh pasta with ricotta and spinach in mushroom, gorgonzola cheese, truffle oil, white wine and cream sauce. For starters we have the Antipasto Misto (selection of Italian cured meats) and the Bruschetta e Pomodora. The Antipasti arrived and it was a large portion and the meats were excellent. The Bruschetta was also very good and the flavouring excellent delicate without being overpowering or too oily. Main courses arrived and they were indeed very very good. My Tortelloni Fungi Gorgonzola e Tartufo dish was stunning – beautiful flavours with the truffle oil noticeable. Everything was freshly made and it was at this point we realised that the chef limits the menu to ensure quality over quantity of choice. Probably one of the best Italian dishes I have enjoyed. The meal was that good that we returned the following night. We also had desserts that time – Tiramisu and Panacotta. Both skillfully executed. Staff were excellent and as I said earlier the food was that good that we came back the following day. Menu is limited but in our case we felt that the chef has taken the right approach to offer quality over a smaller selection of dishes rather than provide a larger selection at the expense of quality. Cost of meal 2 starters, 2 main course, 2 desserts, Irish coffee, and a bottle of red wine (not house wine) €70 superb value for this quality. We will be back here a lot more in the future.

We ate at this restaraunt over the weekend. It is a little little Italian restaraunt in waterford. The setting is small and cosy but the food was gorgeous. Real Italian flavours and real Italian food.
My fiance is Italian so take it from here this is the real deal.
The pana cotta is a must if you go there.
Hopefully they will open one in Cork.
Go there eat and enjoy.

I had a very enjoyable evening at this restaurant a few weeks ago with my partner and two other couples. The atmosphere is relaxed and the clientele seemed to be regulars, which is a good sign! The food and drink was very well priced, no more than €35 a person, this included starters, mains , coffees and plenty of wine. The staff are very friendly and do not impose unless needed. We all enjoyed the evening and felt in no way rushed as we stayed for some time finishing our wine. One tip I would give is to maybe share a starter as the portions are very generous. Hope to get back here soon.

Sat in here recently for a cappuccino that you could tell was made by an Italian. Can't think of anywhere around the city that does better. As for the flatbread, this was simple enough but was absolutely delicious with a drizzle of balsamic vinegar and olive oil just to top it all off. Would highly reommend.
