Stayed there with my husband and two sons. Wanted somewhere traditional, affordable and close to town. Hearty breakfast with friendly service. Would strongly recommend it for its location, price and friendliness.

We stayed in a family room with a double bed and two single beds for 1 night. The room felt old and not well maintained- holes in sheets and light bulb that didn't work. Woke up very early to catch a plane in Dublin (about 2.5 hours away) and couldn't get the shower to work. We left before breakfast was served - no one offered to send us with anything like other travelers had noted. Area around the hotel didn't feel completely safe, although we didn't experience any difficulties. Location is convenient and price was decent. Would only recommend this hotel with disclaimers.

The tourist information office was super helpful - especially with local children's activities. We received maps, discount coupons, times of tours, etc.

Walked to dinner at Emiliano's Italian restaurant - very near to Reginald's Tower. Best Italian food outside of Italy (maybe including some of the places we ate at in Italy!). Food was excellent and staff was accommodating and service was exceptional.

We have just had 1 night in this Guesthouse, and I have to say i would NOT say its good at ALL, the rooms are very unclean, Showers and Lights Don't work, Also the rooms are very small ! We were told by a polish person who worked there that we had to pay INSTANT in cash ! We paid before we viewed the rooms bad mistake ! we stayed for the night which was not very plesant. The beds were old and very small ! We left before breakfast as the other ALL the rooms were not very clean Me and My Uncle was glad to leave we had about 2-3 hours sleep as there were polish people who i think lived there bagging and jumping around all night. If you are thinking of going IT'S AT YOUR OWN RISK Take it from me and the over reviews the place and the 1 person polish staff are not very welcome ! AVOID WITH ALL COST !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This hotel is more like a hostel. Room was pretty awful, dirty, holes in the sheets.

We waited OVER AN HOUR for breakfast to arrive (which we had been asked to book a time for) before we gave up waiting, so couldn't comment on the food.

I did not feel safe in this hotel, the area around the hotel was not safe to be outside by yourself at night, and even inside there were strange people loitering around. The walls were like paper and it was so noisy, but noise was all from within the hotel!

Would not stay here again. Couldn't wait to leave!!

Not a 5 star deluxe and not a camping. Basic rooms; good bed; very small tv and bathroom but warm and friendly people. Price/quality is a little bit discutable.
