We enjoyed this tour; the hosts were fun and played their roles but also took the time to chat with you about the Palace. The origins and dates of the articles on display are amazing.

Went with a group to this amazing Palace. taken back in time with probably the two best tour guides/actors it has been my pleasure to meet. The guides, "The Man" and "The Woman" of the house led us through a brief history in time, as they were working in this house a long, long time ago. Very, very informative, interesting, quirky and memorable visit. I cannot recommend this place enough, make sure you include it on your itinerary while visiting Waterford, or the region. Also enjoyed a really lovey meal in the adjoining restaurant. Again, well worth the visit. I will finish by saying: "Go visit this place!", you will not regret it.

A very cool place. If you want to think of the industrial age wealth that Bishop had, you have to see this place. It really opened up my eyes. When everything in the world ran on coal and this guy and his family had a lock on some of the best of it you can see the 19th century money just oozing from the decorations.

This is quite a small museum and divided into 2 parts. The first part is a guided tour and 2 interesting characters tell you of the history on the palace dressed and acting as part of the household staff when it was occupied. Very entertaining and informative.

The second part on the second floor is more a traditional museum you wander around by yourself looking at exhibits.

Disabled access is excellent although you do need to enter via the cafe as this has no steps but once inside they have a disabled lift for travel between floors.

The furniture and paintings were very nice. Other items on display were interesting but the number of items and size of the Museum did not make this a not to miss attraction.
