Came here again after an absence of many many years and it hadn't changed. Still a good local, clean, good variety of drinks and customers willing to chat. Pop in for a pint.

This pub is brilliant, it's an old style Irish pub with a friendly atmosphere. It's the only pub I've ever being in that you can walk in alone and soon enough your having a chat. Andy the owner a is superb barman and pulls the best pint of Guinness anywhere. Highly recommended.

Irish hospitality is legendary and nowhere is this more true than at this pub. You might find more modern pubs but if you want that, stay at home! This place not only has the hospitality, it has the old-world atmosphere you expect. It’s a family-owned business, mostly staffed by family and they make you feel like family.

Right across from the stylized statues of Strongbow and Aoife, it’s in the heart of historic Waterford on the Quay.

When in Waterford, it’s worth the stop.

We wanted to go into an old Irish Pub and chose Jordan's Bar on the Quay at Waterford Ireland. The owner of the pub was very friendly and we asked for a Guinness and when it arrived, the barman had indented an Irish shamrock into the foam, it looked lovely. We watched an Irish Football Match with the Irish people in the pub which was very different to our football. Irish football is between football and rugby and was very interesting to see. There was a lovely atmosphere in the pub and we were made very welcome. We enjoyed it so much we returned to the pub on our way back to Rosslare to get the ferry back to Pembrook in Wales. The Pub dates back to 1700 and a lot of it is still as it was. The owner said he would not change it as it meant so much to have a pub like this. If you visit it is adults only being a pub and very Irish.

Located on quays opp tower hotel.Staff good at their job/will engage in conversation not just there to pull pints@ which are fine and not over the top price wise.As has been said its not a 5 star bar but what it has and sets out to do is what sells it to me.[Dart board also in snug behind bar].When in waterford i will always try to visit for a drink.
