We really enjoyed touring this place. The guide was very knowledgeable and interactive. Not sure what the short multimedia presentation was about at the beginning... mostly music and fireworks??? Anyhow, once we started it was very interesting. We were able to see all the stages of making/finishing crystal and see the craftsmen at work. There is a wonderful display of duplicate specialty items (People's Choice award, Pebble Beach championship trophy) as well as custom items (amazing grand piano) and a very moving tribute to 9/11. Then there was a retail store with lots of temptation - ranging from small to large budgets. Very worthwhile!

The showroom alone is worth a visit-there are so many beautiful items on display & for sale. The tour is excellent! It takes you through the working actory & has live demonstrations & detailed process of how the waterford is made going through every stage including examples of each step.

You pay for a wonderful tour. The information presented was helpful in not only understanding the history and philosophy but also all the training and precision that goes into making the crystal. We were able to see the craft masters at work at each stage of development. Very nice touch for the tour. Our guide was lovely and she was up against a family that wouldn't stop talking and a few people who had to take ten pictures of the same thing blocking everyone else from picture opportunities. They ship back to the states at a very reasonable price so we did not have to worry about packing our purchases.

The craftsmanship is absolutely astounding. The 911 memorial piece was phenomenal to see and take in. Loved watching the craftsmen etching the crystal. The grandfather clock in the foyer was astounding.
The thing that bothered me is that the crystal is NOT produced in Ireland anymore....it's produces in Slovakia, Germany and other areas.
Still worth the visit and tour.

The displays in the retail store
are spectacular, stars in your eyes!! Although I don't know why they call it a store - I certainly can't afford a €30,000 harp!! Very pretty though.

We took the tour, there were some bored kids there. I'd have to suggest not taking kids under 10,they will have no fun and likely get in the way.
Tours of around 24 people and you don't need to wait long, plenty of time to puruse the shop.

Fantastic show of craftsmanship.

We got in as students as it was €20. Boyfriend looked bored as hell throughout.
