Went from about 2000 employees to about 400 working daily single shift but keeping the electric heating machines running 24 hours in order to produce a great number of world renowned pieces of art costing in the thousands of Euros.
Of course the regular household wares could be purchased by ordinary mortals at their huge showroom.
There are many other glass factories but the tour here emphasize how pieces of sculpted leaded crystals are created by experienced artisans.
