I ate here with my husband 2 weekends ago during a trip to Sligo. We had no reservation but they fit us in on a busy Easter Saturday night after a short wait. The variety on the menu is great, whether you're after pasta or pizza. Great choice of starters and desserts also. The food is simple tasty Italian, which is exact what we were after. My husband had a seafood pasta dish and I had the Michelangelo pizza. We both really enjoyed the food. After starters also, we ended up sharing a dessert, which was also lovely. They also have a great wine list- plenty to chose from. I had a lovely black muscat with dessert which finished off the meal beautifully. I would definitely recommend Bistro Bianconi's to anyone visiting Sligo, and I will be returning there myself if I visit Sligo again. Really enjoyable night.

Had pizza which was just ok. My husband had pasta and prawns which he said were lovely. Nice bottle wine at a good price.

My wife and I visited this restaurant at the weekend and I have to say it was one of the most beautiful meals we had in a long time. The staff were excellent couldn't do enough for us, we will definitely be back. Thanks for a lovely evening

Location was easy to find, staff were friendly especially the host, but food was very disappointing Pizza was only warm and tasteless, My wife had the signature Pasta dish which was very bland. Overall it was disappointing and was not value for money or value for our taste buds

Bad points - noise. It's "family friendly" but the hard surfaces and unbaffled ceiling mean a bit of a racket. Food - pretty good but a bit expensive - 19 euros for 6 prawns and (bafflingly) roast potatoes - very good panna cotta for pudding. The best bit was the excellent value wine - Amarone della Valpolicella at 45 euros a bottle (normally double that in many restaurants). We had two bottles, just to make sure, like. Friendly service. If I lived in Sligo I'd probably eat here now and again but you wouldn't call it restful
