A lovely place to stay, spotlessly clean and very pretty. Breakfast was perfect, lots of it too. About 10 minutes walk from town but very easy to find and really friendly. Highly reccommended. Wil be back. Diane and Alan

I stayed at the B & B with my daughter. It was delightful. Everything and everywhere was spotless. Very impressed. Helpful hostess. Excellent breakfast beautifully cooked. Quiet location. Plenty of off street parking. Thank you.

My wife and i stayed here for a 2 night break. We found Doreen very nice she will do anything for you. if you ask for a room at the back of the house as it can get noisy out the front at night.if you like horse racing it is ideal as sligo racecourse is 200 yards up the road.If going into sligo town centre at night you would be advised to get a taxi on return as like any city you are vunerable late at night. One pub which is very friendly and does great meals is the fiddlers creek and you should go there. It is 2 minutes from the taxi rank and generally a nice pub..would stay here again

This is a good B&B if you are in the Sligo area. It is not very far from the city center. It is very clean and well maintained the only draw back is that the room we had was very small and the bathroom was smaller than on some cruise ships, too compact for comfort. We had been assured that all the bedrooms and baths were large. This was very disappointing. Thank goodness it was for only one night.

I have travelled for business to various towns in Ireland over the years, and have met B+Bs of varying quality. Tree Tops is one of the best I have met anywhere, and is a Sligo gem!

Like most B+Bs in Ireland, it's not large (5 rooms), so if you want to book, get in early! It is bookable via the internet, which is very useful.

The room I stayed in (double for sole occupancy) was comfortable, with ample storage, tea/coffee making facilities, en-suite shower/WC and TV. There was even a hairdryer! There's parking available, which is a good plus point as there is no parking on the street outside.

Doreen is a lovely hostess, doing everything to make your stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. Breakfast is full of choice, full Irish of course, but there is fruit, cereal, muesli, fruit/nuts available as well. And the view of the back garden from the dining room is delightful (I watched the pigeons taking a wash in the pond for ages!).

Walking time to the centre of Sligo is 15 mins or less.

If there's a downside at all (and it isn't the fault of the B+B) its that the road outside is a bit noisy - it's on a junction, leading to a large housing estate which when I stayed seemed to have its share of "boy racers" going round and round in their cars which all had loud exhausts. They weren't speeding, just noisy. The B+B does have rooms at the back of the house, so if street noise affects you, perhaps you could ask for one of the back rooms.

Tree Tops is an excellent location to walk into town. The rooms are nicely decorated and comfortable, breakfast is varied to your taste and the hospitality was unmatched at any of the other B & Bs where we stayed. Doreen MacEvilly is very friendly, welcoming and offers advice on the attractions around Sligo. I highly recommend staying at Tree Tops.
