What a fabulously glorious way to spend time on Loch Gil!

The staff were all ever so lovely and sailing around the loch listening to Yeats and traditional local music...

Bliss!

A beautiful Autumnal afternoon on the glass like lake, listening to Yeats poems so aptly recited by Captain George...His accent and tone of voice were perfect.. it could have been Yeats himself speaking!, Would highly recommend, not only for this, but the the serenity and beauty of the lake, and the stunning Autumn colours.

Sailing around Lough Gill on a beautiful September afternoon was picture perfect. Just over an hour was just the right amount of time to see most of Lough Gill and all it has to offer. Definitely worth the money and we plan on taking it again our next visit to Sligo

We (a group of three) took this boat trip last week. It was a great wheeze. The usual skipper was on holidays so his son was looking after us. He & his second-in-command made us all feel welcome. We enjoyed the wistful scenery while sipping a glass of wine. Instead of attempting his father's commentary, a recording of his voice was played including recital of Yeats poetry. This lent a certain David Lynch quality to proceedings; but in a good way. It was a charming experience & one that stayed with us for the next few days. Thank you

We took in the charming isle of Inisfree tour on Lough Gill Tuesday August 29, while we were on route for a two day hotel break in lovely Leitrim, to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. I was looking so forward to the boat trip and it didn't dissapoint, when eventually we were joined by a family of four and the tour could go ahead. We loved it all, the beautiful scenery, lovely WB Yeats poetry, songs and local history commentary on board, having the boat practically to ourselves was so relaxing. Due to a mixed bag of weather on the day we luckily enjoyed some time on deck too in between the showers. With much thanks to our lovely captain who informed us, he was covering for his dad on the day, we had a truly memorable trip. Look forward to taking the longer trip next time.....M&R
