Description: The Beach Bar caters for an eclectic mix of visitors all year round. When you walk through the door, you will feel you are in a place that has not changed much over the centuries, yet it has something to suit all tastes. From the thirsty surfers just off the waves, to the tourists seeking out an other-worldly Irish experience, to the young 21 year olds looking for somewhere with character to host their 21st birthday parties, there is a welcome waiting for all. Good food, regular music sessions, draught Guinness and a beer garden with a view are the obvious attractions. More hidden, but can be sensed everywhere in the place, is the history of the Beach bar...This family run bar and restaurant with award winning chef’s owners... The Beach Bar offers a high standard of quality meals simply not to be missed when visiting the region Our ever changing menu includes a wide selection of dishes offering local sourced beef /lamb and seafood... if it’s just a bowl of chowder for the cold surfer to a big family meal you will receive a warm welcome.

“What a filling munch”
Reviewed July 24, 2014

Stopped in here for a munch on our travels and it is a lovely bar.
We got two starters and they were so filling, we didnt even need dinner that night.
Very large starter portions and very tasty as well.

Lovely quaint bar in a lovely location

“Wedding Craic”
Reviewed July 14, 2014 via mobile

Was at a wedding here so the grub was catered but a lovely spot, great for a few pints when the sun is shining. Bigger selection of beer would have given it 4 stars.

“A wonderful oasis”
Reviewed June 30, 2014 via mobile

We stopped for lunch. The chowder was to die for, you must try this. Massive crab claws unusually done in batter, they tasted delicious. The staff were very friendly. We'll be back.

“Nice place with good food”
Reviewed June 17, 2014

To be able to have your food and then let it settle over a pint if you like, while looking out over the bay on a beautiful evening is something I will remember for a long time. Just past here there is a lovely walk along the coast with some good views also.
