This visitor centre made a worthwhile stop for us on our way from Dublin to Galway. What we got was a fairly stylished reworked building with a friendly staff. We took the tour which was quite well thought out with a combination of video presentations, explanations from the guide and some exhibited items. It ended up with a tasting session (three types) where they tried to get us to describe how we each smelled and tasted it.
I would say I got what I expected. This is a worthwhile stop if you are in the area.
