Stayed in this hotel last week. First impressions on entering hotel reception are good - that's where it ends. The reception staff need lessons in customer services. Rooms are so so. Bedrooms, dated and basic. No dressings gowns, slippers or fridge in our room. Dinner menu - not a great choice. There was only one vegetarian option. Breakfast selection also very poor. Cooked breakfast - very greasy. Leisure area and playcentre are the best part of the hotel. Staff in general unfriendly and appear that they would rather be else where. Wouldn't recommend this hotel at all.

Stayed at this hotel in April. Great hotel during booking. Hotel room was great size. Clean hotel. Pool nice. Bus to take you into town at no extra cost. Dinner in the hotel was really good better than i was expecting, the pork was soo tasty. Only minor complaint was the reception staff were not too friendly. Breakfast was a little on the poor side compared to the dinner. Otherwise everything was brilliant. The nightclub was a dirty dump AVOID at all costs.

We made the trip to Monaghan on Sunday night and stayed at the Four Seasons Hotel. Our evening meal was lovely, substantial and reasonably priced. Plenty of facilities, leisure centre etc in the Hotel. There was a real buzz about the place; a lovely singer was entertaining the large crowd in the bar. The talented County and Western star Derek Ryan was playing there and we went to see him. The crowd was amazing - very young and really jolly - the floor was never empty.
Our bedroom was well presented and equipped and extremely clean. Though the hotel was full, the price of €99.00 for B & B in a double room and entrance into the dance for two was astonishing value for money. Breakfast did not disappoint - plenty of variety and good quality. We would like to thank the staff for an enjoyable stay.

Stayed here recently with my partner and this was lovely hotel, staff were very friendly and helpful, we ate in bar on both nights and the food was gorgeous couldn't fault anything, our room was very comfortable but could been warmer, we
had breakfast in our room both mornings and it was perfect. Overall we found this a very good hotel and we had enjoyable stay and would go back no problem.

Stayed here for a wedding recently. Room was just over €50 for the two of us with lovely breakfast thrown in. Staff were more than attentive and good craic. Check in lady was warm and welcoming, barstaff were pleasant and polite and even the night porter looked after us really well when we returned from the local. Locals in McCanns pub were lovely and the live music was savage. Would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Got a cheaper room by booking through their website directly. Late breakfast is available

I have stayed here for a wedding. On first impression it is a bit dated but was nice drive up. We were disappointed with the room, small pokey two single beds when we booked a double and an old large TV. Furniture was quite dated and there was a musty smell.

The wedding room food and décor was in contrast quite open and new. Food was lovely. I am attending a wedding in May in the hotel but think I might book a B&B based on this experience.

I didnt get to use the leisure facilities due to having a move on quickly on Sunday.
