Hi folks, thank you for your review . It was a pleasure to have you stay at our home . I'm sure you enjoyed your stay in Westport. Hope you will pass this way again.
My self and 9 of my friends came down for the gaelforce West challenge and from the min we walked into moher house we were looked after until the second we left.. Everything was handed up to us without even asking for it wether it were tea and scones or ironing our clothes. Would highly recommend it for anybody travelling down towards that area and to definetlytry out the home made scones.. 10/10
Stayed there while we doing gaelforce west... marrion and tom the owners made the 10 people of our group feel welcome and at home ... room are spotless.. hot showers... free wifi...and marrions scones and cakes are famous same as the breakfast.... will definetly stay there again..... thanks for everything ..
We were on a hicking trip in western Ireland and stayed one night at Moher House. Marian and Tommy were great hosts for wet and tried walkers. They picked us up from the trail and brought us back the next morning. As there was no restaurant, we could arrange for dinner by telephon on the evening before. The diner and the breakfast were delicious, the room was clean and well equipped. Highly recommended.
Moher House was a charming welcome to Ireland! We arrived directly from Shannon, very tired and spent, but were immediately put at ease by the kindness of Marian and her husband. The rooms were lovely, very clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious and very hearty. We felt very much at home. Thank you for such a lovely stay!
Excellent in (almost) every way: lovely welcoming hosts, the best home cooking we've ever had in a B&B, spotless, bright, airy room, it really did feel like a home from home. The only small niggle was that Marian forgot to take our bags onto the next B&B on our walk, which given we arrived after 5 hours of walking in relentless rain and were unable to change into dry clothes, did cause us to have a bit of a sense of humour failure. But once we called her, the bags arrived 20 minutes later so it really would be unfair to let that detract from our stay at Moher House, which was otherwise perfect!
