This hotel was absolutely ideal for families and couples. We went as a couple, when we arrived there was a wedding on. you wouldn't even have known it was so well done. Setting was fantastic and such a short walk to the marina where we ate and drank the 2nd night. Only a short spin into the town which was lovely too. breakfast was delicious and reception staff also where so nice.

We stayed in Westport Woods for just one night, and our experience was very satisfying. It was the only hotel in town that could accommodate such a big group (25 people) on quite short notice (we booked 2 weeks before). Special thank you for that to the booking manager Annette, who was really nice and helpful!
The staff in the hotel were extremely welcoming too, always ready to help. When we arrived, they organised lunch for us. In terms of food, breakfast was great too - typical Irish + cereal + fresh fruits.
The location is 10-15 min from the city center and 5-7 minutes to the harbour.
We also enjoyed the pool, it was a nice thing to do in the morning before breakfast.
Overall, I'd recommend the hotel to everyone and would definitely stay there again.

We stayed at this hotel last weekend for two nights the 24th/25th August ..the lobby is nicely decorated but our room was very shabby ..large stains on the carpets and a faulty shower..it was very overpriced for the standard..our stay was mostly ruined though by the large amounts of small unsupervised children running around the halls ,lobby and bar area.we didn’t even stay for a drink in the hotel both nights and went in to town for a few drinks instead..kids were just running around everywhere so it’s not really a hotel you could go and relax in ..the pool is nice and sauna and steam room are good too ..breakfast was chaos again both mornings with kids running wild ..we haven’t stayed here before and we regularly go to Westport.,sorry we didn’t pay the extra money for the Westport plaza which is worth every penny they charge ..definitely wouldn’t go back here in a hurry .

Picked hotel due to proximity to both the quay and town centre, both of which are very picturesque. Hotel has plenty of parking and easy to find on main tourist route. Décor is a bit dated but don't let that put you off. We had a triple room and it was lovely and cool, and although the single bed was a small one, it was very comfortable. Bathroom was spacious. Breakfast did not have the wide choice of some of the other hotels we stayed at in Ireland, but it was OK.
Staff very welcoming, and went out of their way to help us - we arrived after dinner service had finished so a very kind man called Seamus phoned a restaurant to see if they had a table for us. When that failed, he phoned for a takeaway for us, which was delivered to our room - what a star!
