Thoroughly enjoyed a two night stay at this hotel in July. Couldn't fault it . The only downside is the breakfast is served to your table rather than a self serve buffet style where you pick your own and evening dinner is a bit on the skimpy side. Overall a grand place for a well earned "switch off" try for yourself and see!!

Room Tip: Avoid rooms at the front of hotel!! Very noisy with early morning traffic

We stayed in the Castlecourt Hotel from 31/7/14 for 3 nights. We found it to be clean, in the room and in general. All staff were polite and courtious. Although there were a few wedding receptions held there over the 3 days we had no problem noise at all. Would recommend this hotel to anyone. Also very close to town center which is a lively place.

Room Tip: We had a room on 2nd floor, no noise at all, but no view either.

Just returned from the Castlecourt Hotel and we had a fantastic stay. The room was great as a family room with comfortably enough space for three double beds. Any niggles, such as the safe not working were sorted out really quickly by the friendly staff. The breakfast was good too. We did not use the pool as it required everyone to wear swimming hats. For a big hotel it has plenty of parking.

Room Tip: If with a family ask for a front room as more space, and eat in the restaurant as brilliant. The poo...

The room was immaculate with all mod cons with a fan for the unusual heat at the time in Ireland. The staff were friendly. However, the breakfast (full Irish) was overcooked and the service in the breakfast restaurant was abrupt so more attention to detail is needed. Apart from that, it is a nice hotel where we were given a good deal. The bar staff were very patient and kind.

What a great night in Castlecourt. We stay there every time we're in Westport. Never fails to disappoint. The friendliest staff around, and a big thank you to Jamie Mullen for his outstanding hospitality throughout the weekend. He's such an asset to the hotel. Thanks again for the great service... Looking forward to next trip already.

We have returned from we think our fourth or fifth stay at this hotel and as always it never lets us down . It's has great atmosphere and the staff are a credit to this hotel always smiling friendly and ever helpful especially Vinnie who at first thing each morning gives you a great welcome. We have also stayed at the sister hotel the Plaza on two occasions which is top class . Both of these hotels are run so professionally and are a credit to the town of Westport along with their newest sister hotel the Westport Coast which had the pleasure of dining in but haven't stayed there but it's on our list !! Well done to all involved and thanks for a wonderful stay :) Ps how wonderful to see staff ranging in age from twenty something right through to more senior and all equally professional.

My family and I stayed here as part of a wedding party, and both the wedding food, and the stay was great.

The bedrooms were bright and spacious, and free wifi throughout. Bathroom door lock not great. The bed was sooo comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was once again amazing. The Orchard Restaurant is amazing. I would not revisit the Courtyard Bistro, both located within the hotel.
