Fabulous house, spotless when we arrived, great facilities and awesome location.
We were a group of 8 adults (4 couples) and found it worked really well. Westport had some fabulous restaurants and some great opportunities to enjoy the great outdoors.
Second time staying here and still absolutely stunning. Love the house and the area everything you could wish for and more
The house is stunningly set at the foot of The Reek, with a spacious open plan kitchen/diner and living room, lovely conservatory and good sized bedrooms. 3 bathrooms between 4 rooms was a good ratio! Great shower in the shared bathroom. There were 6 adults and 2 under 1s in our group and there was plenty of room.
The kitchen could definitely do with some more crockery, cutlery (sharp knives!!) and supplying basics such as hand soap, washing up liquid and toilet rolls would be appreciated.
Short drive to Westport and Westport Harbour, short walk to Famine Memorial, Abbey Ruins and a lovely pub. The coastal views are incredible and the climb to the summit of Croagh Patrick is absolutely worth the very steep climb.
We stayed for 1 week , we were lucky with the weather. The views out of the conservatory looking up to Croagh Patrick are stunning . The cottage was great for us with loads of room and good value for money. We really enjoyed having the lambs in the field next to us , we could have watched their antics for hours.
There is a pub about half a mile down the road called The Tavern that serves fabulous food and very welcoming. Their is also a a great walk down to the pier to walk off the the food if one has over indulged .
Lovely location , wonderful accomodation close to Croagh Patrick, Atlantic , Westport and louisburgh.
The rooms were all bright and airy with great views. The kitchen well appointed and the space around the cottage was super.
We stayed with a large family of four couples plus two babies for a week when the sun shon ans the views were maginificent.
Couldn't recommend it highly enough. John wa son hand if we needed him, but actually we didn't as everything was grand
We stayed here for a family vacation in May 2017. We found the property to be well kept and well stocked. The Bedrooms are spacious and the kitchen a good size. The property could do with some minor updating, particularly the en suite bathroom at the front of the house. The owner was very accommodating, providing 2 cots for babies. The area is beautiful, you can litterally walk up Croagh Patrick from the front door! - we'd definitely recommend.
