We stayed at Seapoint House one night during our recent two week trip to Ireland for our 30th Anniversary. The house was very nice and our room was very comfortable. Nice walks to take and lovely area.

Seapoint House has a gorgeous location right on Clews Bay, the tastefully rennovated farmhouse with a lovely breakfast room and wonderful staff is all spot on, but Carol takes it up a level with recommendations of fabulous drives and attractions to take in along the way and restaurants, pubs and musical venues in Westport. We dined at Torrinos, Mangoes and Sage and would recommend them all. Torrinos may have been the favourite. Seapoint House is ideally located a short drive from the facilities of Westport but feels a million miles away, definitely worth a visit. At least 3-5 nights to enjoy it all.

Room Tip: Lake view.

What a delightful spot, what a wonderful place to be with helpful and friendly owners, clean, tastefully arranged an well equipped rooms, a delicious breakfast.
Unfortunately we could not stay longer because it has been our last stay in ireland after a trip of two weeks.
It has definitely been the most comfortable and enjoyable B&B on our trip. And most of them were high rated B&Bs on tripadvisor and booking.com.
Thanks to Westport and Greetings from Germany

Room Tip: The rooms on the westside of the house have seaview.

Seapoint is a topnotch B and B hosted by a charming young mother. Carol was very attentive and thought of our every need. Absolutely comfortable and spacious with secluded view of the bay. A must stay for a restful evening. her recommendation of Torrinos for dinner in town was right on. Then go to Matt Maloy's for Irish music and Irish coffee.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights and had a wonderful time. The room was very clean and comfortable. There were absolutely amazing views of Clew Bay. Carol upgraded us to a deluxe room because it was available, but even the standard room looked delightful - also clean with a a great view. Truly a special place to stay, literally right next to the water. We hiked Mt Croagh Patrick and enjoyed Conor's dinner recommendation and pub with live music recommendation. Westport was our favorite town of our whole trip!

We stayed there in April, 2013 for two nights, I agree a little far, about 10 min. out of town but wow what views, very quiet and private, a delightful hostess, every thing you want or need, like a wireless house and mouse, I left mine on the plane, it works better than the one i forgot, using it now, thank you again.

If you like walks, holding hands along a hidden bay inlet or setting outside gathering in the oceans aroma and flowers, stay there, a working farm too, the views are great, hard to match or beat, the tides come and go, as dreams of Ireland flow there.

The house is at a great and secluded location and is ideally suited for a nice and relaxing holiday. It has great views and surrounding landscape. We had a great warm welcome by our lovely caring hosts. The best B&B breakfast we had in Ireland so far. Would gladly return!
