I really liked this hostel. Lots of character and very friendly staff. The kitchen/common area has a very sociable feel and we meet some fellow hostellers who brought us to some of the live music bars i hadn't spotted the first time I was in Westport.
The dorms are clean and spacious. We stayed in one with seven beds, that we had pretty much to ourselves(there was 4 of us).Wecould all have showers at the same time so not much time waisted before going out.
The hostel is smack bang in the center of the town.It rained one day so the cinema right behind the hostel was actually really handy.
I think we only paid 17.5oeuro each to didn't break the band and we found it nice to be able to make ourselves feel like we where at home rather then the unwellcoming feeling some other hostels have.
