Well located large Hotel, with great views, well appointed gardens and grounds. Large somewhat non-cosy foyer, and awkwardly located lifts and non-intuitive stairs. Rooms nicely appointed - it's probably worth upgrading somewhat as our room was a little basic (but good value). Breakfast fairly standard. All in all not at the standard say of the Killarney Park but then again one is not paying as much. Short walk into a very nice town Westport, with lots to do - the greenway from there to Achill is a must. I'd recommend it for short stays (1-3 nights).
