We attended a family meal in Temptations Restaurant at the Mill Times Hotel last Saturday to celebrate a First Holy Communion & I cannot compliment the service highly enough it was more of a family event than a meal thanks to the wonderful staff.
It is the Children’s day after all & I was amazed at the supervised play area the hotel had organised there was penalty shoot outs, bouncy castles, a disco, table tennis, computer games, painting, drawing, mini cars even a piñata the children were kept well entertained & looked after by the amazing staff. The names of all the children who were making their communion were displayed in the hotel reception they could even pick their favourite songs for the disco. The tables had individual menus for each Child & their family & were decorated with colourful balloons etc the attention to detail was second to none.
The meal itself was lovely, it was a set menu but there was plenty of choice in all courses (3 or 4 choices). I really enjoyed the Chicken Cesar salad for starters and the strawberry cheese cake for desert was delicious. For main course there was plenty to go around & even extras if you had room for them. The restaurant staff were friendly, welcoming and polite while efficiently serving such a large group in a very professional manner.
A fantastic relaxed & enjoyable day was had by all, children & adults alike and everyone was made feel very welcome. Well done to all the staff working in the restaurant, bar & children’s area on a very well organised day I would definitely recommend Temptations and The Mill Times if you have a Communion or any family occasion coming up.
