My starter was a crab and mango salad, with a plate hemmed with tiny tastes of a pickled cucumber, purple radish, pea shoot. Left me satisfied but wanting to have more, I was seduced. It was followed by a main of mouthwatering lemon sole topped with succulent lobster claws. Vegetables and in a separate dish, potatoes for our table, was it ground corriander they were seasoned with? hmmm will have to try this out. My partner is vegetarian and there is an entire vegetarian menu at this restaurant, he adored it, goat cheese parfait for starter and spinach and ricotta tart, he fell for this, the pastry in particular and a not too 'cheesy' filling. Dessert is where my love affair ended, which I didn't like, Warm Orange and Filo Tart, I thought it too soggy but partner polished it off, loved it and thought it was delicious so each to their own. However, I did get treated to a glass of homemade schnapps made with Apple and Cherry, delicious and perfect end to the meal. I'd highly recommend this restaurant the play of flavours is particularly good.
