I love and tell everyone I meet to go here! Perfect for a rainy Irish Day! A must for everyone to see what Ireland is all about! Should be advertised more!

“Gem of a museum and great cafe!”
Reviewed January 18, 2013

When they have a great exhibit here, it's wonderful because you get to see it up close and personal. The grounds are lovely for exploration. The permanent exhibits of country life could be beefed up a little, but hey they're working on it. And the cafe is terrific. Good inventive menu, food cafeteria style and reasonably priced.

“Ultimate family 'spin' destination”
Reviewed December 11, 2012

Thus Museum of Country Life is a the perfect place to take the entire family. Kid's will learn something while Grandparents get all nostalgic! The cafe is nice too. Its an easy place to wander around or while away an afternoon in the grounds of the adjoining Tourlough house.
