“Excellent experience, can't fault in any way”
Reviewed August 3, 2010

Not only is the Hotel in an excellent position, it has a lovely feeling as soon as you walk through the door. Reception is top class and all the rooms and dining are comfortable and excellent in every way. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful in every way. We couldn't have asked for a more comfortable bed and the only problem was getting out of it in the morning !!
We will certainly return whenever we are in the area again
Our only problem was that we didn't stay long enough

Stayed here on a package of 165 euro each for two night's bed and breakfast, one dinner and a ticket to see Daniel O'Donnell. Rooms are lovely, very clean. Staff in dining room are brilliant, very efficient and the breakfast was lovely. The dinner was one of the best meals we had in a long time, very well presented and delicious. I could not praise the dining room staff enough. Thank you Owen, Arthur and Damien for your excellent service.
I thought that Martina and Gemma on reception could have been a bit more friendly. They did their jobs but I felt as if I was annoying them when I enquired about something and when I handed in the cards of the rooms, there was no "safe home" just a quick good bye.
Overall a lovely hotel, my gripe with reception was only a small one and Daniel O'Donnell was fantastic, the Royal theatre staff were very friendly.

We stayed at this Hotel for 3 Nights, Dinner Bed and Breakfast. On arrival we decided to upgrade for 15 Euros extra per night, well worth it we got lovely Courtyard Room which was very quiet room. I would reccommend these rooms as my sister had upgrade and her room was facing Theatre and was noisy at night, however her room was also lovely. We could not fault the hotel in general. The staff were friendly, the rooms and bathrooms
The quality of Breakfast and Dinner was excellent. Over all we had a very
pleasent stay and highly reccommend this hotel.

We stayed here for two night last week while visiting the west of Ireland. It is a lovely, clean, modern hotel with free parking next door in the car park. Finding it is a little tricky, as nothing in the west has a precise address, but that's not the hotel's fault. Nice modern rooms, beds a little soft and thin for American tastes, but that's to be expected. Conveniently located on one of the main roads at the edge of town, near a McDonald's, gas station, and Tesco, as well as a short walk from a small business district.

I booked to stay in this hotel and organise a family function for 50 people. I have to say it was the best choice i could have made.
First of all the hotel is lovely, staff are friendly and very accommadating. First impressions of the hotel - it was just perfect for guests to come visit. I was very pleased.
Second of all the location, its only a 3 minute walk and you are right beside all the shops, great little town for shopping.
There are a wide choice of rooms with some great offers which suited my guests, the courtyard with an upgrade was booked and this was fantastic for peace and quiet off the roadside, there was also suites booked and were also lovely and comfortable (big beds) lovely shower, it ticked all the right boxes.
Thirdly the staff, absolutely impeccable, friendly at reception, bar and night staff, a credit to them all.
I booked a function room for 50 people, they helped me decorate the room, they made everything extra special for the night, the bar was just outside the function room and the staff and service was also impeccable for the party. To impress 50 people at a function is something else. To hold 50 people in a hotel for the weekend with no faults either was pretty impressive in itself. The food both breakfast and dinner was superb.
I will most definetly be booking to stay here again and i know the guests at my party will also. I am very greatful to the staff at the Harlequinn Hotel for all the hard work and the weekend will never be forgotten as it was flawless.

Thank you so much
