The Westcourt Hotel was a great experiance for my family. We rented 2 rooms for 2 nights. Our room was one of the remodeled rooms so everything was really nice and new. The bathroom was great with a big tub and modern plumbing fixtures. There is no air conditioning in the rooms so we needed to leave the windows open for a comfortable temperature. This was no problem but the city street crews start cleaning the streets really early so we did not require a wake up call! The beds were very comfortable and I nice television with a good selection of channels on the TV. My brother in law got one of the rooms that had not been redone (ask for a remodelled one) yet and it was really tired looking, especially the bathroom. His tub leaked into the lobby below so he was moved to a remodelled room on the 2nd night which was lovely.

We were greeting with a very friendly reception young lady upon check in and she remainded very helpful throughout our stay. The general manager was in the lobby as we were checking out and she was a really super nice lady as well, making conversation and asking us if we had seen the sights. The bartender in the pub was really nice as well providing us with ice for our room each nice.

There is no elevator but we were offered help with our luggage witch we declined. We got good exersize and didn't mind the stairs at all. We were there on week nights so didn't experience the night club noise that others have talked about but did see the big new night club, it looks awesome!

The hotel could not be located in a better spot, right accross from a beautiful Church you can tour and only minutes from New Grange. We didn't buy the 10 euro breakfast since my family is ok with just McDonalds or something small and there is a McDonalds withine easy walking distance. There is a wonderfull little Itallian restaurant just past the church and up the hill on the right. My son said it was the best lasagna he had had in a long time. We had Pizza's that were great too.

Loved finding a room that we could actually move around in. Lots of space to sprawl out, clean, quiet, and relaxing.

The hotel is being renovated so some rooms a modern and tidy while others are very tired. The big problem is the noise from the hotel bar and night club. This is a young persons bar with loud music - so loud that the bass travels through the entire hotel. Our group was in two rooms on 2nd floor and we all stuggled to get a good night sleep. When venues closed the party seemed to move on to the street. They need to decide if they are a night club venue at the weekends or an hotel the two are not complementarty to each other.

My stay at the Westcourt was a fantastic experience. Excellent location.
Room beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. But the staff made the stay a warm and thoroughly enjoyable experience. Always greeted with a friendly smile and they couldn't do enough for you. From receptionist to manager, porter, waitresses and barmen. Thanks Westcourt. Hope to see you again soon!

Booked this hotel for a hen party weekend and was 100% happy with how the weekend went. We booked a hen party package which was €95 a head and included dinner, B&B, entry into the nightclub and some drinks and nibbles as well! Such good value and the food was lovely. We had 25 people in our group so there was lots to organise and the hotel went over and above the call of duty on every count. No matter what we asked for they were more than happy to oblige! They made the whole weekend pass off without a hitch! They are in the middle of renovating the hotel but the service and warm staff that you get when you're there more than make up for it and the renovations aren't that bad! Would fully recommend this hotel to anyone!!! Big thank you to all the reservation staff and management for dealing with us so professionally!!!
