It was my first time here on Friday. I went for lunch with my father, obviously a busy time for the restaurant as the place was fairly packed. I got the lasagna (big portion) which lacked of taste other than tomato (far too sweet), it came with a side salad which was nice although the coleslaw had a very strong flavour of carrot.
My father got an open sandwich and soup which he seemed to enjoy.
Overall the atmosphere was not nice, you could feel the stress coming off the understaffed waiter/waitresses, almost like it was an inconvenience to the staff that you were in the restaurant. The waitress who served our table looked miserable,I did not see her smile once. When she delivered the food to our table she did not acknowledge us nor tell us to enjoy our food which as far as I am concerned is basic customer service in the hospitality industry...
When paying, the waitresses who took the bill seemed to be in a rush and it was a bother to her that I wanted to pay for the meal.
All in all don't think I will be back any time soon. The restaurant is not too pricey, good portions but terrible atmosphere and they should teach there staff how to smile.
