We stayed here last year and just had to come back again! We arrived on the 1st of August for a 2 night stay. The staff all round were excellent. The receptionist, Anna, was extremely friendly and accommodating throughout our entire stay, and even accommodated us with an early check in as we arrived 2 hours early. We got upgraded to a Junior Suite for a great price. I would highly recommend this upgrade for anyone who really wants to treat themselves! Breakfast both mornings was exceptional! I really couldn't praise the breakfast staff enough for their great service, and the food was absolutely amazing!! It really lived up to our expectations. We had an evening meal in the Hamptons restaurant on the second night which was also exceptional, for both quality and value! The restaurant was fairly busy. We found the young waitress who served us, (Niamh maybe?) , was extremely friendly and helpful and provided us with excellent service! Overall, this hotel is magnificent and I just can't praise it enough! We can't wait to return here next year!

Room Tip: Treat yourselves and go for an upgrade to a suite! Well worth it!!

The Savoy Hotel Limerick is definitely a nice hotel, but lacks some of the amenities and services expected of a 5 star hotel. This former Marriott property has nice rooms and king beds, but did not have a concierge on staff, no bellman at the door to assist with baggage and lacked some of the 5 star amenities you would expect in the room. We were fortunate to have a balcony in our room, which proved to be useful for ventilation as the air conditioner just couldn't cool the room. All said, we still had a nice stay at this hotel.

Second time staying at the savoy, the rooms are immaculate .
Room service is speedy, had delicious bento box .
Pub downstairs is a little small but great cocktail choice . Our room had a great view all across the Shannon and could see thomond park

The savoy is a great hotel. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. The staff were very accommodating. We ate in the Hampton's restaurant downstairs. Clive looked after us very well. The breakfast was fantastic. Central location. Couldn't ask for more
