We spent two nights here en route to the The Cliffs of Moher, and It simply cant be beat for the price. The majority of hotel bookings turn out to be too good to be true but, this was an almost perfect experience right form the start. I chose the pamper package for my Wife which included €100's worth of Spa treatments, which had to be booked ahead, and wasn't a problem, as its clearly mentioned on the website. I could go on all day about how great everything was, but I really don't have the time right now, so Ill just mention a few highlights. 1st of the staff were very helpful, and full of info, giving us directions, and shortcuts journey ahead. The room was well laid out, decent size, overlooking the nearby river, great views. The Spa was exceptional, and staff really made us feel comfy, and very welcome, and perhaps the best of all, I personally think was the restaurant, and food served. Had the best 8oz steak ever, still remember the taste this many after, compliments to the chef. I also have to apologize for taking this long to write a review, as the team there deserve all the credit they get. Out of a possible 100% score I would give 95%, and is no doubt the highest i've ever given a hotel.Limerick has certainly shed its negative image over the years, and this hotel is a shining example of that.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Room was very large and had a lovely view of the river. Best things about the room: quiet, large, nice view, rain shower head in bathroom, multiple electrical charging outlets (Continental, US and Irish/British). When a couple has two IPhones, 2 IPods and one iPad. - having multiple charging outlets was a huge plus. Breakfast served downstairs in the restaurant area. Server Ciara was terrific. Garage under was nice and secure.

Room Tip: River view, upper floor

Now Limerick isn't a "big" city & I knew this when I booked. With this I saw the reviews but didn't expect much but how I was surprised. This is a 1st class hotel, that can compete with major chains & it excels in its customer service. Front desk Michelle & Chrystian were an Absolute joy!!! This was my 1st time to Ireland & driving on the "wrong" side of the road & these 2 great people were a joy. I'm the type that "needs" to see everything & asks a ton of questions. Rather than get annoyed or bothered, they were just as excited to help. The rooms are great size, good shower & very clean. The restaurant, will surpass what you would expect from a small town hotel because nothing about the property is small town. Limerick has great people & if you venture out some great food, The Locke Bar & my favorite The Corn Store (ask for Jason the manager) are wonderful.

Again, Michelle & Chrystian thanks loads for your help, patience & general interest in helping to make for a great holiday!!!

This hotel offers great value, we stayed for one night, had dinner included & €50 towards a spa treatment & breakfast, all for only €125 per person.
Dinner was in the hotel restaurant, good selection even though the meal was included as part of package.
If you are booking a spa treatment, if you wish to avail of the thermal suite, you also need to book this in advance. Unfortunately we were not advised of this at the time of booking & therefore were unable to use it. This however was the only small negative of our stay!
Hotel is located close to centre of city with parking available free of charge in hotel.

We stayed in The Absolute because we wanted a city experience while The Boss was in town. We ordered sunshine and rock music when we booked and got those things along with a nice room and attentive staff. Since The Absolute is so central, we could walk to Thomond Park for the gig and then we easily hooked up with friends at The Locke, just a few hundred metres downstream on the river walk from the hotel. In many ways, staying at the Absolute Hotel was central to a fantastic short stay in Limerick.

We stayed here on our way to west Clare to visit St Johns Castle and Limerick City. The staff were welcoming ,parking free, rooms clean with good facilities and the restaurant was good for both dinner and breakfast. There is a childrens menu in the restaurant. We were able to walk to nearby attractions St Johns Castle,Hunt Museum and the fun Milk Market. The Absolute offers great value for those wanting to visit Limerick.

Stayed here for a wedding. Managed to check in early to get ready for wedding. Had made hotel aware on booking and emailed again a couple of weeks before. Great room. The food at lunch was amazing after they were reminded of my order 20 minutes after my husband's arrived. Experienced long delays getting a drink in the bar before the wedding reception start but then all was all. The service, food and surroundings proved absolutely amazing for a wedding reception so all was well! Would definitely stay here again and recommend!
