What a great hotel in a country where all too often, hotels seem dated or plain. This property has a funky, fun and modern vibe to it. The rooms are incredibly spacious, the beds comfortable and the bathrooms filled with modern amenities and plenty of space to get ready. Free wifi and parking add to the appeal of this hotel. Definitely worth a visit if your travels take you to Limerick.

We stayed in Limerick for a long weekend and chose the Absolute Hotel as our base.
From the moment we arrived to the minute we left ALL of the staff were fantastic. The receptionists were up for a laugh but full of local information when required.
The room was very clean, spacious and very modern with all the mod cons.
Parking was available in the underground car park with approximately 35 spaces and an overspill outside if required.
The Absolute Bar and Grill (ABG) is worth a booking as the food was delicious and the service spot on at a very reasonable price.
We found the hotel location was within walking distance of St Johns Castle and other attractions and reasonably close to the city centre.
We walked each day to the city with a nice stop over at The Locke bar which is worth it for a nice Guinness and a bite to eat whilst watching the rugby or the entertainment.
All in all in our opinion the hotel was great location, excellent helpful staff, clean and modern.
Not forgetting that it also has a small gym to work off the over indulgences.
Very happy with our visit, we will return and definitely recommend The Absolute Hotel.

Great funky hotel. Very welcoming staff. Good breakfast, but maybe add some kippers to breakfast menu ! Close enough to walk to Limerick city centre. Very historic part of town. Will be back. Recommend it.

Hotel was amazing, absolutely amazing, really really was blown away with the Superior room, the space and double set of Tvs back to back really was great. The bed was definitely not hard as per previous reviews, the shower was fab! Room was cleaned to perfection also. Hotel was designed to perfection I loved every detail from the clocks showing times around the world behind reception to the tumblers in the bathroom to the paintings on the walls. Breakfast was gorgeous really loved it the only negative was the scrambelled egg was watery and the toast was only done on one side. Also the parking for the hotel was bad but it didnt affect how fabulous the hotel was or our stay, would definitely go back!

Checked in on Saturday and we were treated to an upgrade, room was perfect and had great view. Second time staying here and we were not disappointed . Facilities were brilliant and the gym was nice option to have before having big dinner. Staff were excellent and very friendly . Buffet breakfast is great and very tasty . Only advice is book dinner in hotel early it books up quick at weekend. Will stay here again.

The hotel is good value for money. Very modern, clean, comfortable and well equipped rooms. Some rooms have good views over the river. Free secure parking. The car park is small and gets full quickly. There is a multistorey nearby which requires an overnight fee. Restaurant food is good and reasonably priced. Breakfast is not included in the room price and is 10 euros for the buffet. If you are very hungry and plan on eating a lot, then this is worth it, but there are probably better options outside the hotel. The predominantly Irish staff are extremely pleasant and friendly in a natural way (the best feature of the hotel).

The hotel is modern and open plan. The noise from the bar pervades the whole hotel, but on the occasions I have stayed there it quietens down around 11.30. I was not disturbed by noise in the night. The hotel seems to be a popular party hotel at weekends. . Matresses are on the firm side. I found the hotel very hard to find. I think you really need satnav to locate it easily.

Wet and cold is certainly not a good experience for a hotel to give. So first off Sorry.
I did investigate and there is nothing structurally wrong with the bed but I accept that it was hard as different people do report back different things. It looks like our hot water demand boiler tripped so there was a shortage of hot water. That is being dealt with, however I accept it is totally unacceptable. The Escape Spa is operated the Escape Spa Group and I have passed these comments onto them to action. I agree that they are indeed poor. I hope that at some stage you might return and we can deliver the experience we should have in the first place.
