WE booked the Absolute hotel for 2 nights stay in March and I have to say it's one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in, ABSOLUTE CLASS! It's all in the name. The hotel was spotless, the rooms were gorgeous, spacious and I never thought I'd talk about a bathroom but it was lovely and spotless too. The bar was lovely and modern and the restaurant's food was top class with a lovely view over the river. Breakfast every morning was buffet style and as fresh as you like with a great selection from fruit, cereal to full fry up. All the staff we met were friendly, cheerful and very helpful. 2 minutes walk to town centre to all shops, pubs and nightlife. Would not hesitate to go back to this hotel and am looking into booking another weekend to it very soon.

Stayed here for one night, such a fab hotel, stayed in a suite room which was absolutely fab, would never leave it, very clean, staff helpfull and friendly, went to the spa had no complaints and really enjoyed it, my only problem was that breakfast was cold i got there for 10.30am and they were running out of food so not much choices, it was nearly 11 when more food came and we had finished up by then. I would recommend this hotel and i would stay again.

We stayed on mothers day and an additional night, on arrival we had checked into a standard room and ask if we could upgrade to superior room as there was an offer on for €10.00 a nite much better room lovely and on a quiet floor. I would like to tell you about the wonderful head receptionist I think it was Miaia she was so such a wonderful woman so helpful A big thank you to her helpful on every level. We had lunch in bar and it was lovely, bar very quiet but that was nobodys fault. My husband had a massage in spa and was excellant.
All in all we had a lovely break in a lovely quiet bright room just what the doctor ordered.

My wife and I had a few days off so booked into a few hotels around the mid-west region and if we'd been better advised, we would have stayed the entire time here. The room was very clean and comfortable with hard-wired internet access in the room; the shower is like something you would use to wash an elephant, very powerful! The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
We decided to get some food in the restaurant but unfortunately it was closed. The barman showed us the bar menu and told us there wasn't a lot of difference between them so we picked out the salmon and clonakilty-stuffed-chicken. If you don't stay in the hotel, it's worth a trip for the food alone - perfect sized portions and absolutely delicious.
We've been in a lot of hotels and this definitely stands out from them all, if you need somewhere to stay close to the city centre, this is all you need.

Stayed at this hotel last week, and have nothing but the height of praise.
It all started out very badly. Originally had booked for a Sunday night, then changed reservation to Saturday night two days before hand. When we arrived they had no record of the saturday reservation but bent over backwards to accomodate us.
Staff excllent and extremely helpful.
Restaurant food excellent.
atmosphere in bar at night - excellent.
Have reccomended this hotel to all my friends. Great job absolute.
