I came to Limerick for a business trip. I only had Sunday as a full day in Limerick not having to work. I spent Sunday walking around the downtown of Limerick and visiting castles and cathedrals. Although Limerick is not quaint like Ghent or Brugge in Belgium, if still has a lot of historical charm. Next time I come I will plan to spend more time visiting the surrounding areas of Limerick.

This is a Nice Hotel with really nice River and City Views. The rooms were nice, Good Beds nice Bathrooms. The Service was very good, all of the Staff were Professional, Friendly, and Very Helpful. Breakfast was also very good. My only Criticism would be the Waterfront Restaurant. We arrived a little late and the Restaurant looked very nice so we had Dinner there. The Room itself was very nice, Comfy seats great river view. The staff was also really good. The Food however, not too good. I had Fish & Chips. I don't believe I have ever had Chewy fish before, seemed like they cooked it twice. Someone else in our group was also not happy with their food. Great Hotel, just go out for dinner.

The hotel is spacious, clean and has nice views over the river but let's itself down in a few areas. While the doors from the bar to the terrace are clearly signed with a request to close behind after use, only the guests complied. Staff constantly left them open letting an uncomfortable breeze in. Storage space in the room was almost nonexistent, despite heaps of dead space around it. Breakfast was just ok and the room safe was placed in the most idiotic location where instructions could not be read due to a shelf above and you almost need to lie on the floor to operate it.

Although the location was perfect for shopping etc we were not happy with the hotel as we were asked to pay a deposit even though we had paid in full before the first night in cash. The toilet took several attempts to flush. There was paint chipping off the walls in the room. The main room door let in light from the corridors. We could hear accommodation staff whilst cleaning in the morning (talking and clattering of glasses) the leisure facilities were clean but there was a smell (like wet dog) in the hallway from the pool to the changing rooms. Breakfast was oily and the juices available were warm.

Dear Melanie N
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.
Yes, we do require either a cash deposit or Pre Authorisation from a credit card from all our guests on check in. In regards to your remaining feedback, I will be discussing this with the necessary department manager and while I wish you had a better experience, it is feedback like this that we learn from and use to improve.
Kind regards,

We had a big event at this hotel recently. The staff were so friendly and efficient. We had a number of friends/family stating and everyone enjoyed their stay. This hotel is perfect for large groups. Good location and close to city.

Just as a note- The car park is across from hotel and costs extra! Not so cool when you have stuff to bring across in the rain!
