I actually stayed here way back in April 2012 for the Heineken Quarter Final.

All round good standard hotel with excellent bar service and food.

Room was clean and very spacious which was nice.

Only negative during the stay was the fact when I asked for some poached eggs at breakfast they arrived on a piece of heavily blue moulded bread!

I raised this with the young waitress right away as obviously it was unintentional; she was visibly shocked herself and profusely apologised and said she would have it sorted right away.

She came back with fresh eggs a couple of minutes later after having mentioned to the manager it had happened. Within ear shot she asked her if she would come speak to me to which the manager looked in my direction and shrugged and walked off!

The poor girl came over and apologised again but it was not her fault so I didn't see the point in causing a fuss for her she did as best he could and was a credit to the hotel unlike the manager!

On the whole very good hotel obviously user pressure with guests for the rugby.

Myself and my sister stayed here when Limerick flooded in January so we were literally confined to the hotel for a day. We really enjoyed our stay.
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The gym is small but everything you need for a good workout.
Only downside is location, if you're without a car its awkward to get to. There is a bus service that runs outside once an hour so restricts you a bit.
Overall though I would recommend this hotel.

The Radisson is very hospitable, lovely rooms and pleasant staff. Great bar food in Porters. Good Car parking and spacious reception area which is very relaxing. I have stayed here several times and I'll always go back to stay in this hotel.

The hotel was okay. We had dinner there and it was fine. It was a short stay as I came with a small tour group. We arrived mid-afternoon and I was still jet-lagged so I didn't do much but sleep. Went into town on the way out

We stayed there for a long weekend with my wife.
They did upgrade us to a higher level of room, due to the off season, so started great.
Stay was good, nespresso coffee in the room, good size comfortable and very clean.
Okay breakfast , very nice staff.
Only downsize is the distance from the city centre.
Would highly recommend.

I recently stayed here for an overnight with some family members to facilitate a golfing day at Dromoland. The hotel was perfect location at a very good price. Rooms were clean and functional but dated and tired looking. Out of the 3 rooms we accommodated, none of the TV's had a good picture quality and the TV's looked over 15 years old. The Hotel in General has a tired look and feel and while the staff were very friendly and helpful it did not encourage us to stay there and enjoy the night. We headed into Limerick for a bit more atmosphere not to mention the Bar lost its Satellite connection for some key sports events we were hoping to watch while having dinner and a pint. I wouldn't discourage anyone from staying here especially if you get a good rate. its perfectly fine breakfast and food facilities are great. Lastly, the pool is tiny so expect a short length of a swim.
