“Regular stay in Limerick”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 26, 2014

I stay here often when in Limerick. The location is close to the Motorway, which makes it great if you are travelling onwards.
A big modern lobby and check in is always quick and cheery. Rooms are large and so are the beds.
The leisure centre is has a smallish pool, steam room and a hot tub on the roof. The area is always quiet.
Bar food is okay but a bit limited in choice. Breakfast is self service with a good range of cereals, fruit, cold meats and hot food.

We stayed in the Radisson over the wkend. There was an issue with the room and hotel done every to fix the problem. We had food in the hotel and because of the issue there was a free bottle of wine on the table. the meal was excellent and great value for money. On a neg the room are a small but dated as is the outside. But all in all we would recommend the hotel

Stayed in this hotel last weekend , , , rooms nice and spacious staff very friendly and breakfast was nice ,a good selection of food something to please everyone , , ,BUT the food could do with being hotter , , , The hotel in general would benefit greatly with a fresh coat of paint especially in the hall ways , , , people would expect more from a 4 * hotel . . .

My husband & I are from South Africa & are travelling through Ireland. We checked into a business class room on 12 April. The room was big, nice view of some cows but cold & shabby. When I 'phoned down to reception to complain there was no hot water & the heating did not seem to be working I was told that there was a big rugby match on & every must have used all the water before they went to the match but they would check the boilers. An hour later I complained again and this time the duty manager came and said we could go down to a ground floor room to wash & she could bring us a heater. We declined both but she promised we would have hot water in the morning. This was not so, the room & water still barely warm. Hot breakfast stone cold, uneatable. So instead of staying another night we checked out. I asked to see the dutymanager but although I could see her she refused to come and see me. I was told that Wayne the general manager would contact us about our complaints. Five days later no word from him. A waste of money and a real let down. We will avoid all Raddison hotels in future.

Room Tip: Just don't go there

Stayed here last Saturday night. The room was quite spacious for 2 adults and 1 child and nicely decorated. Corridor walls quite shabby and double doors on corridors quite scuffed. Bathroom a little on the small side and shower not v powerful. Breakfast was disappointing in that we found the scrambled eggs, mushrooms, beans were barely warm and I couldn't eat them. The selction of cold meats and cheese was nice. Don't think I would stay here again though.

We stayed in this hotel for a weekend and the staff were very friendly.the room was beautiful and very comfortable.my partner hurt his foot badly and couldn't walk so he was bedridden all weekend so having such a lovely room and helpful staff made our stay so much easier.i would definately stay in this hotel again and hopefully enjoy the facilities available :)

A little aged but still a good style Radisson situated a good 10 minutes from Limerick City which is convenient if you are looking for easy access and no hassles with city parking. The hotel is close to the M7 so you can get to it without driving through the city which for us was a plus. We drove to King John’s Castle the main local tourist attraction, in about 10 minutes and it was easy to find and good value as well. We got a good rate on line although we did book ‘on the day’ which happened to be a Saturday night with many hotels booked out. The staff very helpful and you couldn’t fault the service. There is a good in-house bar, lots of old Ireland character, sports oriented and good beer. The bar food was very good, plenty to eat and of course chips with most selections. The rooms were big and clean and furnishings while not ultra-modern were in good condition and comfortable. There were no spare pillows in the room which you find in most hotels of this caliber. I’d stay here again without question.
