Stayed at this hotel for a family reunion in May 2013. We were a party of four (two rooms). Hotel is modern and spacious and well positioned for both Shannon airport and Limerick city. The main areas were very smart, breakfast was good and the bar had a lively atmoshere with an international mix of customers, Irish, German, American etc.
Perhaps one negative was being woken at 06.00 on a Saturday morning by the reverse beeping of a delivery truck. We stayed in room 335 so maybe the front hotel rooms are a safer bet?
Certainly good value for money, and will use again (perhaps with a room change)

I wouldn't take too much notice to the review " Home of the Gypsy Wedding" when in fact it's not, it was a one off and I having been in the hotel that same weekend thought it was thoroughly entertaining. I've stayed in this hotel numerous times and i wouldn't want to stay anywhere else when i'm in Limerick. The staff are fantastic, they're friendly helpful and can't do enough for their guests, which is what brings me back time and time again. but you'll always get these people that need to rant, even if they're wrong.

The service here was excellent and the staff was friendly and very accommodating. Great pub and very nice outdoor patio. Located about 15 minutes from Shannon Airport and 5 minutes from Bunratty Castle, it is convenient and a great starting point for trips to Tipperary, Cashel and the Glen of Aherlow.
Rooms are clean and of adequate size. We did not use the Spa but I understand it is exceptional.

For a Radison it was extremely poor quality. The lobby is nicely laid out and the welcome staff were lovely but the rooms are quite out dated. Our bathroom was not near as clean as it should be. The dinner was included in our deal but when we went for dinner there was a very small selection of mains and a large supplement added for the steak. We literally barely finished our starter and out come eight steaks, all just warm, not hot. While this is all happening there is a large wedding going on and lots of very dolled up young kids running riot around the hotel. There was a gypsy wedding on which we didn't think would make any difference to us but later in the night it did. So after dinner we were going to go to the bar but it was packed with overflow from the wedding with your typical 'big fat gypsy wedding' crowd so we had to head out to Limerick city (went to a club called Icon which was brilliant) when we got back to the hotel our taxi man refused to drop us to the door as there were lots of the wedding party outside, then when we got in to go to the residents bar we were told to wait and sit in the lobby and have our drinks there instead so as not to mix, we did so and asked the staff on five occasions for our order which never arrived. So then some of the wedding party start to kick off and the Gards arrive and the manager says we won't be getting our order out in the lobby as he didn't want to be seen serving us in front of the wedding guests so asked us to go into a room and he would send us the drinks and our sandwiches to there, we did so and waited another 30 minutes for the drinks...then we were told they were pre occupied looking after getting rid of the gypsy wedding crowd so wouldn't be able to serve us the food we ordered so instead said we could only order some 'Tayto' (Irish crisps). When we asked for a second drink from the make shift residents bar they said it was closed even though the manager had apologised we had to be put into this make shift residents bar and said it would be open as long as we wanted.

Breakfast the next morning we thought would make up for it, the eight of us went down to breakfast together and had booked a large table which was good but then we got our buffet (which was strangely cold and really not nice!) and we had all completely finished by the time we even managed to get someones attention to order our tea/coffee.

Then at payment stage every couple was over charged....All in all too many blimps (there were so many that it gave us a good laugh)

The photo is slightly off-putting - looks dated and that's what we expected when we arrived having read some of the reviews here. But, this is a lovely hotel set in its own large grounds with lots of space around it, lots of lovely trees and rambling walks. You can see the dual carriageway off in the distance but it causes no disturbance. The lobby and the restaurant and the rooms are spacious and very pleasant. The food is good. The lobby is comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful in both the leisure centre and the hotel itself. Plenty of hot water. No bath in our room but the shower was very spacious. Can't fault this hotel and can only highly recommend it. It's much nicer than you expect it to be.
Great breakfast - that spicy bread selection was delicious!
The 'big fat gypsy wedding' that arrived on our first night was amusing and added great interest to our weekend away! lol! By our second night the hotel was back to normal! It's very nice - you won't feel cramped or overlooked here - very spacious lobby and restaurant!
A little strange that we had to press third floor in the lift but we were on the first floor cos when we went down the stairs, there was only one short flight down to the reception on the ground floor! We think this place only has two floors - ground and first - so we never did discover why we had a room that was numbered in the three hundreds and we were apparently on the third floor except that we weren't!! An enigma!!

I stayed here for 3 nights and was thoroughly satisfied with the treatment I got from all the staff, especially Eoin, who went out of his way to make my stay a fantastic one. When I return to Erin, I will make it a point to stay here for a first-class treat, and hope you do the same!! By the way, the breakfasts were marvelous, and the bar food and Guinness were grand.

Stayed here more than once. Spa is gorgeous, complimentary use of thermal suite for residents I would recommend you take advantage of it! Hotel has spacious bedrooms and ensuite that are lovely and comfortable. Breakfast was very good also, plenty to eat for 10 euro each breakfast. Gorgeous grounds and car park very handy for luggage etc. we were there last week in may and stayed towards back of hotel overlooking trees and neat lawns, lovely and quiet restful stay.
