Lovely hotel with clean rooms, friendly staff and great breakfast! We spent one night here to attend a rugby match and the location was excellent. A taxi ride from Limerick city center was 11.00 euro so not city center located but all the better for it! Would definately stay here again. Thank you Greenhills.

Room Tip: We asked for 'non smoking' room in the new part and were delighted with the room. The Ennis...

I was really looking forward to my stay here because the pictures look gorgeous and the reviews seem really positive but I was very disappointed in the end. We were clearly staying in the old section of the hotel which was very obvious. The sink and bath were stained from age, the bathroom fan beat like a helicopter for at least 10 minutues after it was shut off it was so old and the table in the room had coffee stains all over it. We were clearly in a smoking zone which I wasn't aware we'd chosen, the bedroom was frozen when we arrived and the bed and especially pillows were less than acceptable considering the price (€160) and music blared somewhere in the hotel until about 3 am. It was fine but I was just expecting something amazing from the pictures Greenhills have up! That said the pool, food and staff were lovely but I paid the same price for an absolutely incredible hotel in Dublin recently that I would certainly choose to go back to over Greenhills.

Room Tip: Ask for a room in the new section and no-smoking!

My wife and I stayed at the Greenhills Hotel in Limerick recently whilst attending a conference in the west of the city. The hotel was very good all round with free guest parking outside plus good leisure club facilities and function rooms.
The staff were very welcoming and helpful - our room was very comfortable with a comfortable king sized bed we were happy with the size and layout of the room, the bathroom although clean and serviceable could do with being refurbished.
We had a meal in the restaurant which was very good and well priced.
If we are visiting the city again we will definitely stay at the Greenhills again.

This hotel is rated as 3 star, but in some aspects it is clearly a 4 star hotel: friendly service, great food, ample and clean rooms, good pool and leisure centre... And second to none in value for money. We would definitely use this hotel if back in Limerick. If we have to say something negative, it would be the fact that the place is slightly understaffed, particularly at some times and in some areas...

Just spent one night here on business in Limerick. It was my first time staying here and I would recommend it. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the rooms are very modern, comfortable and quiet. The hallways and corridors look at bit tired but the rooms are fantastic. Lovely comfortable bed and a really nice breakfast. The location is not city centre if that's what your after though.

As the title suggests this spot is a bit far from the city if your plan is a night on the tiles. Luckily we were looking for a quirt one. Rooms were a great size and the bed was amazing,we wanted to bring it home with us! The breakfast was very generous and a great selection. We ate in the restaurant the night we stayed and loved it so much we went back the following day after check out to eat there again as we were starving from our days shopping in the city! Good choice!
