Great traditional Irish pub with a small, cozy and quaint restaurant. Candles on each table in the restaurant. The food was delicious! Excellent specials of the day and a bonus 3 course special for a great price. Menu had great choices, both traditional and contemporary. Service very friendly and efficient! Awesome fish and chips! Mint pea puree was an interesting side dish. Gelato was very yummy and highly recommended!

I recently dined in the Locke on a cold Sunday morning with a group of friends. I had a great experience and the food was fantastic, they have an amazing brunch menu and i found it hard to make a choice but I went for the full Irish. It did not disappoint and their modern take on this classic favorite was a true delight. My friends chose the eggs Benedict and lamb slider, both of which were also mouthwatering. The staff were so helpful and friendly and the cozy fire was the cherry on top! I will be returning soon!

My wife and I were in limerick for two nights and were after a nice place for dinner while walking around the city.
Whilst we we looking at the cathedral we saw the "Locke Bar" and my wife said why don't we try that place as soon as we walked in we were greeted with a smile and the atmosphere was fantastic! We ended up coming back the second night as well.

The food is awesome the service is great and over all I would rate this bar a 11 out of 10.

I highly recommend to anyone visiting the city!

What a great find. We'd eaten at Azur which is next door but one, and very late in the evening went to the Locke. They have tables with beer taps on them with Guinness and Carlsberg, where you can pour your own pints. Live music (Tues night) and just a brill atmosphere.
