“Perfect in every way!”
Reviewed July 27, 2014

We stayed 2 nights at the beginning of our tour of Ireland and it was the best hotel we stayed in. The team at Pery Square manage to get everything just right. In addition it's a beautifully designed hotel which makes the best of every room.
We ate in the restaurant too and it was delicious food, lovingly prepared. Breakfasts were superb and set us up for the day's site seeking.
I particularly loved the fact that if you wanted a tea or coffee you simply rang down and fresh pot was brought quickly to your room with lovely bone china. (my pet hate is those little travel kettles and long life milk)
Thank you so much and we'll definitely be back!

This is a small but really stylish hotel with friendly, helpful staff. My booking was last minute and for one night only, and I wish I could have stayed longer. It's definitely my new favourite hotel in Limerick.

We enjoyed our one night stay in this charming boutique hotel. We were very impressed with Andy who was on the front desk when we arrived and who made us feel very welcome. He also gave us good advice for where to have dinner - The Cornstore. The room was fine, not sure that I would rate it 4 star, but quaint and comfortable. However there was only one bottle of water and one tiny square of soap - and we were two people! All in all a pleasant stay.

Just returned from Honeymoon having spent a night here. Located in the Georgian Quarter and all I can say is the whole place is pure class from the moment you step through the entrance. A set down area is just in front of the hotel with secure private car parking <1 minute walk away, limited places though but we were lucky. Our room was stunning very spacious with a bathroom bigger than a lot of hotel rooms we have stopped in. Unfortunately the Brasserie was closed (Monday) but the receptionist booked us a table at a local italian only a short walk away. Breakfast was a delight so many choices with the hot option freshly cooked. I have stopped in some top class hotels in the past all over the world and this is right up there with them. Staff were all very friendly and keen to help.

Room Tip: I do not think you would be disappointed with any room in this hotel

Stayed here with a group of friends and family members on July 14, 2014 before leaving Ireland after a 10 day trip.
Have to say it was one of the best we stayed in. The rooms were comfortable and the baths were the best, seperate showers with rain heads. We are all seniors and really appreciated that.
The food was fantastic and the bar and drinks were the best, they even had martini glasses!
The staff was most accomodating and fun.
The hotel is still in the processs of being renovated but this sure is a little gem.

Room Tip: I saw 5 rooms and they all were great

A gorgeous hotel with lots of charm in a beautiful location. I loved everything about this hotel.
The staff were super friendly and the meals we ate there were so delicious. Our waiter was so efficient, friendly and knowledgeable about local events.
The girls on reception greeted us like long lost friends everytime we came in and made us feel so welcome.
Would highly recommend a cocktail in the bar, sitting at one of the beautiful windows overlooking the park.
I would highly recommend it and can't wait to go back!

A lovely Georgian building just out of the centre of Limerick.
Its all very swish and well presented and the welcome was very friendly and helpful.
There were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room which I was surprised about, (especially as it's not cheap)
We ate in the restaurant as it's not that close to other restaurants.
here's a puzzle for you,
Q. What's white and invisible?
A. No bread.
We had a side plate with a knife but were not given any bread! It wasn't even an option to buy it. They just cleared the plate and knife away after our starters were finished. Strange! Maybe you had to order the soup!
The food was nice but you didn't get much and the vegetables were charged as an extra. I had poached chicken with sweetcorn, gnocchi and braised leeks. There was a mouthful of leeks and about 6 gnocchi. Not much for the money. If I order a main course I expect it to be a main course, not half a main course and if you want a whole main course you have to pay extra. It's just a rip of that restaurants seem to think is okay theses days. You don't order a dessert and have to pay extra for cream. Grr!
Anyway, we ordered a bottle of white wine which was not quite cold enough but was being kept away from the table and our glasses were topped up by the waiter. This was fine till he forgot and we had to remind towards the end of the meal.
There was a wedding in the Hotel the night we stayed and we did hear one of the guests at 1am knocking on the door of the room next to ours and talking in a very loud voice which was quite annoying.
Breakfast was very nice and the waitress that morning was lovely.
Would we go back? probably not. A bit overpriced for my liking.
