“One of the best hotels I have stopped in”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 23, 2014

Just returned from Honeymoon having spent a night here. Located in the Georgian Quarter and all I can say is the whole place is pure class from the moment you step through the entrance. A set down area is just in front of the hotel with secure private car parking <1 minute walk away, limited places though but we were lucky. Our room was stunning very spacious with a bathroom bigger than a lot of hotel rooms we have stopped in. Unfortunately the Brasserie was closed (Monday) but the receptionist booked us a table at a local italian only a short walk away. Breakfast was a delight so many choices with the hot option freshly cooked. I have stopped in some top class hotels in the past all over the world and this is right up there with them. Staff were all very friendly and keen to help.

Room Tip: I do not think you would be disappointed with any room in this hotel

Stayed here with a group of friends and family members on July 14, 2014 before leaving Ireland after a 10 day trip.
Have to say it was one of the best we stayed in. The rooms were comfortable and the baths were the best, seperate showers with rain heads. We are all seniors and really appreciated that.
The food was fantastic and the bar and drinks were the best, they even had martini glasses!
The staff was most accomodating and fun.
The hotel is still in the processs of being renovated but this sure is a little gem.

Room Tip: I saw 5 rooms and they all were great

A gorgeous hotel with lots of charm in a beautiful location. I loved everything about this hotel.
The staff were super friendly and the meals we ate there were so delicious. Our waiter was so efficient, friendly and knowledgeable about local events.
The girls on reception greeted us like long lost friends everytime we came in and made us feel so welcome.
Would highly recommend a cocktail in the bar, sitting at one of the beautiful windows overlooking the park.
I would highly recommend it and can't wait to go back!

A lovely Georgian building just out of the centre of Limerick.
Its all very swish and well presented and the welcome was very friendly and helpful.
There were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room which I was surprised about, (especially as it's not cheap)
We ate in the restaurant as it's not that close to other restaurants.
here's a puzzle for you,
Q. What's white and invisible?
A. No bread.
We had a side plate with a knife but were not given any bread! It wasn't even an option to buy it. They just cleared the plate and knife away after our starters were finished. Strange! Maybe you had to order the soup!
The food was nice but you didn't get much and the vegetables were charged as an extra. I had poached chicken with sweetcorn, gnocchi and braised leeks. There was a mouthful of leeks and about 6 gnocchi. Not much for the money. If I order a main course I expect it to be a main course, not half a main course and if you want a whole main course you have to pay extra. It's just a rip of that restaurants seem to think is okay theses days. You don't order a dessert and have to pay extra for cream. Grr!
Anyway, we ordered a bottle of white wine which was not quite cold enough but was being kept away from the table and our glasses were topped up by the waiter. This was fine till he forgot and we had to remind towards the end of the meal.
There was a wedding in the Hotel the night we stayed and we did hear one of the guests at 1am knocking on the door of the room next to ours and talking in a very loud voice which was quite annoying.
Breakfast was very nice and the waitress that morning was lovely.
Would we go back? probably not. A bit overpriced for my liking.

We recently celebrated our family reunion and were so lucky to have the chefs of No. 1 Pery Square prepare a feast that made our celebration even more spectacular. On Sunday, we enjoyed brunch at No. 1 where the service was excellent and the food once again fantastic.. we all ordered different items from the menu to get a taste and every dish was delicious. Wish we lived closer to No.1..we'd be there every Sunday! We have also stayed at No. 1 in the past and it is such a relaxing hotel where the staff are all pleasant, professional and so helpful. Best of luck to all at the hotel and keep up the great work. Looking forward to being back again soon.

Stayed in No.1 Pery Square for a romantic break in June. It was really lovely and very relaxing. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. The restaurant food was beautiful as was breakfast. But the highlight was sitting in the lovely cosy bar sipping wine & chatting with 'Mike' til 1am. I think he could literally be the unique selling point of the hotel! Such a lovely guy & a great laugh! Overall a fab couple of nights spent. We will definitely be back!

We loved the charm and amenities of this hotel. The rooms were fantastic. The staff was courteous and friendly. We ate in the restaurant and drank in the bar as well. We enjoyed it all. It was the perfect end to our stay in Ireland.

Room Tip: We stayed in Pery Period room and it was amazing.
