Stayed here with 5 friends end of April. Easy to find. Immaculately clean hotel. Rooms large and very comfortable. Ideally located to Limerick city centre - you can walk in comfortably in 20-30 minutes taking your time or take a taxi from reception for approx 8 euros. There is a direct dial phone in reception to the taxi company.
Breakfast was very good as was the evening barmeal. We wanted to eat in the restaurant, but you have to book up in advance - we missed out for the three days we were there.
The leisure facilities are excellent, but you do have to wear a bathing cap in the pool, which they can supply free of charge. Don't forget the 1euro for the locker in changing room.
Downside - I had room 114. Ground level great, but it backs onto the service yard to the kitchens etc. You will not sleep from 0530 onwards thanks to the arriving delivery vans and lorries that seem to bang doors and slide them continually. Rooms 107,109,111, 113,115 etc opposite mine face gardens and were very quiet. I tried to change rooms - thanks Aga - but the hotel was completely full, that's how popular it is.
Top marks to Eileen, for all the help she gave.
